Lost Via Domus-PROCYON

Not really an eagerly awaited title but surely a very popular game LOST: Via Domus was released few moments ago by group PROCYON. Inspired by super famous TV show LOST which is currently in its fourth season, the game is directly built upon characters and events from the show. I’m not really sure if adventures may attract many gamers, but the added “LOST” value will help for sure. Nice thing about this release is an absolute lack of protection, so you won’t have to bother with cracking the game.

After Oceanic Air flight 815 tore apart in mid-air and crashed on a seemingly deserted Pacific island, its survivors were forced to find inner strength they never knew they had in order to survive. The band of friends, family, enemies and strangers has become reluctant heroes who must work together against the cruel weather and harsh terrain if they want to stay alive. Danger and mystery loom behind every corner on the island, and those they thought could be trusted may turn against them. Even heroes have secrets.

Game features:

  • Play as a survivor of Oceanic Flight 815: Confront your dark past, seek your redemption, and ultimately find a way home
  • Explore familiar locations, unravel mysteries, and interact with the main characters from the show
  • Solve puzzles, outsmart enemies, battle the smoke monster, and overcome many other challenges to survive the island and come out alive

  • Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Pentium 4 orAMD Athlon MP 2400+ (3.5 GHz Pentium 4/AMD Athlon or 2.5 GHz Core 2 Duo/Athlon 64 X2 recommended)

  • Video Card: 128 MB DirectX 9.0c–compliant, Shader 3.0–enabled video card (256MB recommended)

    I must admit, normally i hate to see movies/tv shows into games, and when i heard about LOST i didn’t want it because its my number 1 show, however after seeing the trailer i must admit it didn’t look half as bad as others…im gonna probably wait a bit after the 360 release to purchase though still..

    I hate the series, so maybe this game will be good (I wont be disappointed if it doesn’t live up to the rep of the show cause I don’t watch it), whereas everyone who watched the show is going to be judging whether or not it follows the story line.

    I am a recent LOST fan. Being able to catch the first three seasons @ abc’s website has been the key factor in me jumping on the bandwagon.

    However, I really don’t think this game would be worth playing from beginning to end. In my experience, a lot of these type games (genre of “capitalize on our tv/movie presence and whip out a game with a very common engine and tv/movie storyline to power it”) are not that enjoyable to play after the novelty of it wears off.

    In spite of all of this, I will probably still get it, try it out, get bored of it and then archive it none the less.

    It’s Ubisoft it cant be thaaaaaaat bad :) I think they must have messed just a game or two… and they werent horrible !

    Ubisoft made all the best games now… Assasin’s creed, Rainbow Six, Splinter Cell, Ghost Recon, Prince Of Persia, King Kong (I liked it)… I think its worth giving it a try !

    This game doesnt even run smooth on mid range settings

    My computer spec:
    tiny xp
    memory:2gb
    nvidia geforce 8600gt 256mb

    What am i missing here, i can play half life 2 and battlefield2 full settings and runs as smooth as a babies bottom, yet Lost has average graphics, and runs like crap.

    Anyone else having similar problems?

    Just downloading the game now using torrents. Ordered it on PS3 not due til Friday so thought i would grab a copy. A must have for lost fans everywhere, not something a non-Lost fan would enjoy. But at least we can relate to it, trailers look amazing

    Ive got the same problem, even crysis i can run on high at 1680×1050 with xp. But this game, i can however play it smooth at 1680 at very high, but the loading times!!! crap those times are bigger than the time your playing.

    Like in the first chapter with kate, after you take the picture it needs to load again for 5 minutes, to only hear one sentence of kate, and then it needs to load again for 5 minutes.
    And the voices arent even real, i find this a real dissapointment :(

    i had similar problems on my high-end system.
    long loading times and even game crashes (only happened in cinematics). i had these issues on “very high” settings, switched to “high”@1680×1050 and it runs fine.

    just finnished the first two chapters, seem like a fun (but easy) game!

    whats wrong with this game? wheny a click new game i see info that game will auto save when ill se save icons (those two nuke icons i belive) and press any key to continue.

    destroy that experience: no
    it does however follow the storyline of the show (on a much shallower level tho).
    so if you want abolutely no spoilers, i wouldn’t play the game until you’ve seen the part of the show that the game covers.

    i havent finnished the game yet so i can’t tell you where in the show’s storyline the game ends yet.
    (i’m in chapter 3/7 of the game now, and the story is around the subjects of episode s01e10)

    After solving the fuel leak problem, while loading the next scene, the game crashes.
    It also crashes and freezes randomly.
    Until reboot it shows “The Detection failed please check log” error.

    On medium graphics quality, without high resolution textures.

    Have had no problem with this game running at all, apart from it being total rubbish in all aspects. I feel a little stupid for wasting a perfectly good blank disc (should’ve mounted instead of burning lol) on it. Now I have a nice new “Lost” coaster lol.

    Game runs verry smooth with a 2.4GHZ Pentium 4 , 1gig RAM and a GeForce 7600GT! (Playing on 1024×756, high settings)
    Only lags when lighting a torch lol

    But up till now (3 hours of gameplay) verry stable and smooth. Gameplay reminds alot of Resident Evil etc. Its nice for Lost fans, since it merges a new character and side-storry in to the storry line. Dont think I would have much fun with it if I wouldnt know the show tho! Its not exactly a killer game with big inovations… but its a nice one nevertheless.

    yeah it crashed my computer so hard during the loading screen after the beach crash site bit with the fuel leak it did a physical memory dump over the graphics drivers then had a whole lot of weirdness with my bios CMOS settings when starting back up, is this part of the in game experience? lol

    Bah… my computer surpasses even the recommended hardware, yet I can’t even see the opening ubisoft logo… Sometimes I can hear it playing, but it never shows, I just get a black screen and the game never loads. I’m assuming nobody else ahs had this problem as I have read all of the comments and were unable to find anything about it. Any suggestions? And yes, my gfx card is up to date. So I am at a loss…

    I have a question for those who tried this game. At the begining this game works fine.. except that I can’t go to the second level. As soon as I finish the first level.. i got the video “previously on Lost…” and then, the first level start again from the begining (wake up after the crash) .. ? I tried it 3 times, and i always get the same problem. Am I the only one having this problem?

    RTFM t0ny3.. you don’t need a crack to play this game. Look in the .nfo .. it says, you just have to unpack, mount/burn, and install. That’s it. No crack! And it works well for me, except that i can’t go to the second level.. the first level always starting up.

    Probably screaming like a toddler isnt the best way to get a crack. Try using google or joining a forum dedicated to cracking. Or better still, learn to crack the game yourself.

    and for all those who can only play level 1 ever and ever.. I did find a solution to this problem. There’s a little crack that solve this problem and makes the others levels available. I’ve just tried it, and from now on, it seems to work perfectly :) So here it goes.. have fun!
