I got four hours sleep to watch this the second it leaked. Been refreshing every 10 seconds and after 3 hours just episode 2. 
It's really strange. I think there's somtething or someone under this happenings. Come on, it's the most important Season and they just release the second episode? Why not just the only one? So people couldnt' watch it.

We have so many groups who would have normally released this by now. We would normaly have 3+ copies flying around.
So why no episode 1s? I wonder if somehow the powers that be have screwed up the signal for the first episode? Maybe they have managed to track the recorders.

228, in regards to your theory. A friend of mine tried to DVR it and it messed up for some unexplained reason. Sadly you may be on to something.

episode 1 is not required to watch episode 2. i just watched it on TV. so just go ahead and watch 2. both episodes are totally unrelated to each other and they have different stories.

it shows the others camp with the houses and then it shows the guy from all the dharma videos and hes about to make a new one. then he gets interuppted and has to go to some underground place where construction is going on. One of the construction guys starts talking about how they can see something behind this wall. Its like an xray and it kinda shows the wheel that ben spins to move the island. The dharma guys freaks out and says that they cant drill there or because it will release the energy that they can use to manipulate time. Then it shows daniel there and thats where the video starts. This, by the way, is a flash back so it basically shows the daniel was already on the island before.
