@116, the scene groups dont release it at all for p2p, it is usually someone with access (i should imagine), the point of the scene is to keep it in the club so to speak. they dislike p2p.

Why would anyone do that at one time Eztv would have torrents up pretty quick but not anymore and not from what I can tell in a good while.
They also dont post as many shows as they used too.
Crud BSG turned on there a full hour after elsewhere had it.
I have a theory that rls groups probli did not even record episode 1 which is why it hasnt released anywhere
@kxKS, actually the "big" scene groups (FQM, FoV, LOL, DOT, XOR, DiAMOND, VOMiT, LARCENY, etc.) release stuff to Usenet first, then it trickles down to torrent websites.
STG, aXXo, KingBEN, etc. are examples of groups/people who release to torrents.
p2p newbs… know nothing of scene…
The scene groups DO NOT release to p2p.. releases are pre'd traded on private ftp sites long before p2p or even newsgroups see them… though leaks are getting a lot quicker :/

oh well it doesen't really bother me cause the 2nd ep torrent has only downloaded 10mb in 30mins so by the look of it i'll probably get ep 1 before ep 2 even finishes

you should use the direct dl links i just finished dl epp 2 took me just over an hour.
look for interchangeable links dl each part from difff sites then when its done it will unzip to 1 file.
quickest way..
oh and i just checked to see if it works n as far as i can tell its fine.

@128 – Why even bother using torrents? theres perfectly good download links posted all over. Even single download links.. 1min to go to finish ep 2 for me.. now i just have to wait patiently for ep 1. I will take a peak at ep 2 now tho.. can't help mysel;f!

Scene releases to topsites first which=private FTP (they call them PRE's) which then couriers trade on around the world. All this happens pretty quick and communication happens through IRC and then it trickle downs to torrents, newsgroups, rapidshare, p2p, etc…..

My ISP doesn't have a usenet server. They don't even provide that service. So if i wanted to use usenet i'd have to get it from a third party so I dont bother with usenet. Altho I know its a useful tool to download 0sec stuff

Yea, I still have NOMP+ as a backup. I found it used to skip some files from time to time. This would screw up my live feed on my XBMC. I also use to get a crash error from time to time (I think it was some NZB files that did it)
Now I use Sabnzbd I have no problems. I can limit speed (For when im browsing) and it also links in with newzbin. I also have a plugin which updates my XBMC with the new downloads (For the library).
Check it out. There is a col windows version called Sabnzbd+
