Here is something for the LOTR fans. Developed by Pandemic Studio, Allstars releases the PAL version of Lord Of The Rings: Conquest. It is based on The Lord of the Rings film trilogy,and borrows many gameplay mechanics from Pandemic’s Star Wars: Battlefront games. I too am a hugh fan of LOTR and The Hobbit, and i am going to get the game as well . Enjoy!

The Lord of the Rings: Conquest puts players into the thick of the tremendous battle over The One Ring, playing out battles from both sides of the confrontation! Conquest will let players take control of many of the characters and creatures from the series and pit them on any of the franchise’s famous battlefields. From Cave-trolls to Oliphaunts to the Balrog and even Sauron, practically the entire universe will be available for battle with up to 150 characters on-screen at any one time. Up to 16 players will be able to clash online, with four players able to play cooperatively through the main campaign either online or via four-player split-screen. And with two distinct campaigns to play through, including an original take on what would happen if Sauron regained control of the One Ring, the game promises plenty of scenarios to wage battle through.

    The demo sucked hard. Combat system is made of combos. Minas Tirith warriors can do flaming action attacks what looks like final fantasy super-duper-attacks…

    xxxx-yy-bb are the starter combo, later you can survive with xxxx-lb-yyy-lb-xx-lb-yy-lb-bbbb combos.
    So the hardcore gamers will pwn you and noobs play assassins which kill you invisible with one attack.

    Has hardly something to do with LOTR except the poor graphics.

    This LOTR is great a action game like DMC4 i think LOTR PC will be relased ad night today like Call of Duty : World at War firts Xbox360 by All stars and Leter ad the same day CoD:WaW in PC ;)

    I'm kinda looking forward to playing this game on the PC and hopefully someone will have that cracked soon.
    I played trough the DS version of this game, it was kinda lame and abit short but still I found it enjoyable.
    And I also spendt quite some time playing the battlefront games.
