Group HAGGiS came to the scene with a new release of London to Brighton, a limited thriller which won many prizes at various independent film festivals. This group is known for releaseing mostly unknown but very interesting limited movies, and London to Brighton is alson one of them. With rating of 7.2 points at IMDB, this 1 CD release should deserve some attention.

It’s 3:07am and two girls burst into a run-down toilet. Joanne is crying her eyes out and her clothing is ripped. Kelly’s face is bruised and starting to swell. Duncan Allen lies in his bathroom bleeding to death. Duncan’s son, Stuart, has found his father and wants answers. Derek, Kelly’s pimp, needs to find Kelly or it will be him who pays. Kelly and Joanne need to get through the next 24 hours alive…

Written and directed by new British writer-director Paul Andrew Williams, London To Brighton is violent, uncompromising and utterly enthralling. Arguably the best British film of the year, the movie has picked up a raft of awards and nominations.

    It seems like HAGGiS is a British group by their nfo and the fact that they release lots of British flics. Looks like they’re looking for u.k. *tv cappers too, it’d be appreciated.

    i liked it. kinda slow paced suspense drama, with a build up towards the ending. dont expect the typical english gangters flick. it had a realistic and dark feel to it.
