Lohan and Murphy worst actors at Razzies
Lindsay Lohan and Eddie Murphy have both been crowned the worst actors of 2007 at the Golden Raspberry Awards, or Razzies, which spoof the Oscars. They each won three gold spray-painted trophies worth $4.89. Murphy won three of the four worst acting categories for his comedy Norbit, which was mauled by critics. Lohan won two worst actress Razzies for I Know Who Killed Me. The film broke records by winning eight of its nine nominations, including worst film. This shattered a record for seven Razzie wins, previously held by Showgirls and Battlefield Earth. Lohan also won worst screen couple for a scene in which she appears opposite herself.

In I Know Who Killed Me, she plays a small-town girl abducted by a psychopath, and an alter-ego stripper who is missing body parts. It was a major box office flop, with takings of $9m worldwide. The actress was in and out of rehabilitation programmes last year. In November, she served 84 minutes in jail for drunken driving and cocaine possession charges. Norbit sees Murphy play three characters in the film about a man who meets his ideal woman while engaged to a battleaxe. He plays Norbit, plus a Chinese man and Norbit’s screaming overweight wife. Despite a poor reception from critics, it had box office success, with takings of $158m worldwide.

btw norbit wasnt that bad :-/. most of those critics shouldnt be able to critique all those movies because some comedies (superbad for example) are meant mostly for 14 year old teenagers such as myself, so those 50 year old virgins shouldnt even watch such movies. murphy isnt that bad an actor but he was better in his days, beverly hills cop is a classic for me and i actually bought all the three dvds

Lohan WAS miscast though.
Lohan plays a stripper, that gets abducted, who is then tortured, and ends up a multiple amputee.
That’s a piss poor career move when your fanbase consists mostly of pre-teens…
even though this gets bad press, someone out there will want to watch these movies anyways. I think this is just more B.S. propaganda for the movies they are in.

Murphy = lol. As horrible as Norbit was, Murphy was still wicked. Only redeeming factor of the movie.

Eddie Murphy is a got dayum genius.. overwieght black woman were sooo pissed off with this movie because of the mockery Eddie made of it…. problem is… its the same loud, obnoxious, thinkin they sexy big women thats on all these talk shows that made this stereotype easy… Norbit was phukkin HILARIOUS!!
i think its really crappy to say that murphy was the worst actor, coz his acting wasnt so bad .. the movie tho..it sucked.

Well I got some news for all of you, YOUR ACTING SKILLS AIN’T WORTH CRAP!!! & I’m sure Murphy & Lohan are both laughing there way to the bank while the rest of you sit around wishing it where you on the big screen. Try watching PROS vs JOES and hopefully you will learn that things seem so much easier on the couch!

O.K. LOOK I’m not about to play the comment tag game with U but I believe there is a big difference between a coach yelling at a player to motivate them and some A-HOLE sitting at home talking crap about someone else in movies or telivision. Well I guess we are all entitled to our own opinions.
