SSTV has mainly been wasting their time pre’ing useless children’s shows, but once-in-awhile they bring something useful to the scene. It’s called Living With The Dead, LIVING’s new paranormal investigation series. Before watching the show, I’m going to assume they follow all the ‘ghost show’ cliches. Here’s a short list: over-used pre-rendered mood music, cheap dramatizations with over zealously used camera effects, and hyped pre-investigation chats. Well into the show I became annoyed by the frivolous use of useless background effects. I won’t be watching another episode. Prepare for a chilling eye opener with LIVING’s brand new paranormal series Living with the Dead. This dark investigative series is a frightening foray into the most haunted homes around the UK.
The Living with the Dead team; Psychic mediums Johnnie Fiori (also appearing in the West End musical Hairspray as Motormouth Maybelle), Ian Lawman (the ‘Bad Boy’ of the Psychic world who has talked to the Kray Twins) and paranormal investigator Mark Webb, will work together with home owners who are literally petrified to the point of despair about their unwanted spiritual house guests.
This is the last chance saloon for families to reclaim their homes, and make them once again a place of comfort rather than a place of fear.
Expect tension-filled, menacing journeys as the show tells the stories of terrorised families from Derby to York and Wales to Grimsby, having to share their homes with ghosts and spirits that are ruining their lives. The series will also feature the team paying a visit to singer/actress Toyah Willcox’s house in Worcestershire, and performing a seance to exorcise the demons that, she claims, haunts her home.

I wasnt really interrested untill i followed the show “Ghost hunters”.
I really like it but thats only because of the “scientific approach” on the subject.
I will not go to the “charm” side of it.

I only believe in something when there’s proof but untill than i like to keep an open mind.
the people who believe paranormal stuff are as mentalist as those who worship at the alter of science (for science has just become the religion of the modern world).

most scientists are in the pockets of whoever is supplying their funding.
There are very few scientists who aren’t compromised by their paymasters.
Their “proof” is also simply based on the current understanding of how the world works (just as the religion’s were founded so many thousands of years ago). I’m sure some of what science assumes is correct (just as some of religions basic tenets are based around fact), but much will be disproved.

My only beef is that all of the people denouncing everything offer absolutely nothing that is better in it’s place.
If you tear down everything people believe in and offer nothing in the way of replacement or even improvement, well, you are just the sort of people that fuel the general need to find answers ’somewhere’
I think this show is like all of the Fiction you so readily watch without regret: Maybe it’s not true, but for so many people to share this common interest, perhaps there is a grain of truth.
Besides, it’s entertainment.
