Is it just me (I watched it from an uncalibrated monitor) or the video sample looks a bit dull? Not that it matters: the overall quality of the release seems to be more than acceptable.
The only player I played the sample that’s not off sync is with Media Player Classic.
Its a real R5 i already watched it its out since yesterday, 10/10

to be honest, not that good of a film, it’s way over the top (first die hard is superior). pukka release not that good for a r5 either
Just FYI, most media players allow to shift audio via keyboard shortcuts. In Media Player Classic, + is for audio delay +10ms and - is for audio delay -10ms. You’ll obviously want to get perfectly synced releases for DVD burning (A friendly reminder from MIAA: piracy is BAD!), but if you only wish to watch some dvdscr and burn the dvdrip later, minor off-sync in audio is not a big thing.

I play all the movies I get here on my Philips DVD hooked up to my HDTV. Is the audio bad enough for you guys to wait for something more proper?

The sample played in media player clasic and VLC media player seems to be in sync to me.
Guys, I am using GOM Player and the sample is FINE…it is NOT out of sync…DO NOT USE WMP….if you use GOM or KM player then the sample is 100% fine….

an audio delay of about 200ms is difficult to see for a noob

I still have my doubts about R5 releases though. Is it true that the audio is almost always dubbed in russian so they use another source for the audio? (hence the suffix Line)
James you can’t without paying. There is a limit on what you can download for free and that is 100mb. So you’ll only get the first file

stardom that only works for people with dynamic ips, some people have static ips and what i know of there is no workaround rapidshare unless you pay!
The fastest way (Ive found) to sync up audio in a film is AVIMux, fixes the audio in about 2 minutes instead of having to completly convert it and wait for an hour for it to do it!
I read a few posts down that there are no audio sync problems but i just thought id post this referal for AVIMux!

They are going to release an R version of this film with digitally added blood for a version of the DVD.
Nothing makes a movie look adult than computer-generated blood overlayed all over its characters. I think it’s a bit too late to go with the R rating.

The visual release said there was a sync problem with CD2 of the pukka release, but the sync fix from pukka is for the sample and CD1. Did anyone have any problems with the sync on CD2?

I downloaded the RapidShare links that If posted and there was absolutely NO sync issues at all.
I downloaded the torrent and it plays in sync on WMP (cd1 and cd2), will this change will I burn it with nero vision 4????
Pukka’s release have no problem.
Just for the people who use Win media player.
With other players ( quicktime, Mplayer, vlc, bsplayer ) there is no problem with the sync.
So dont use wmp, and everything will be fine.
PS: who is that moron who use wmp instead of the players listed above?

think of it like a sorority they have the new recruits and you and the new recruits are the ones setting up the cams and mics (if needed) they promise you big money but i personally set up 6 big movies and sold the shit on the streets and underground for 4 months they said i was one of the best guys just a couple more releases well i did 4 more and sold tons with no problems and again yah u are really good just a couple of more screeners. of course not pukka’s words but words passed down from the main guys. i eventually got out it was like a fucking gang they threaten your lives if you want to get out. i was getting $100 a month and brining in $25 000 grand at times and there is not a single thing that can lead this back to the main people. Word is one guy went to court but there was not enough evidence so nothing happened i had to flee the city. and these guys have tons of 10-18 year olds working for them only a couple actually go in the theatres alot of em sell it.
