Live Free Or Die Hard 2007 PROPER DVDRIP XviD-DnB
The proper which was more than expected finally arrived, release 15 minutes ago by group DnB. The first dvdrip was surprisingly pred only on 1 CD, which was kind of not enough for a 2 hour+ action movie like this. New version spreads over 2 CDs and therefore offers way better quality of both image (2pass 1137kbit/s) and sound (5.1 channel AC3). A great opportunity to see latest Willis’ action moves if you haven’t checked it out yet!
Plot: When someone hacks into the computers at the FBI’s Cyber Crime Division; the Director decides to round up all the hackers who could have done this. When he’s told that because it’s the 4th of July most of their agents are not around so they might have trouble getting people to get the hackers. So he instructs them to get local PD’S to take care of it. And one of the cops they ask is John McClane who is tasked with bringing a hacker named Farrell to the FBI. But as soon as he gets there someone starts shooting at them. McClane manages to get them out but they’re still being pursued. And it’s just when McClane arrives in Washington that the whole system breaks down and chaos ensues.

I use ConvertXtoDVD and i put 2 cds in the program and it outputs them to 1 DVD. audio and video is in sync!

First on Topic: Great Rip. Quality superb. Movie… well it’s good but come one why is there a sequel after sequel after sequel? Harry Potter makes a good case, there is a continuing storyline, but Die Hard? Just make up a new minuscule story and make a new action movie with Bruce.
Off Topic, but in the comments THE topic: I don’t know why people are engaging in this aXXo talk to much. I sometimes download his rips as the scene releases are not listed anymore, but besides that it’s always better to go with “official” releases and no re-encodes. It IS an argument though that aXXo releases fit on one CD and that is easier. I do have a 5.1 System and you DO hear the difference, for people just wanting a quick watch of a movie on their laptop screen it is fine, but if you would compare quality you really can tell the difference.
aXXo has its right to be as being the biggest releaser of reencoded DVD Rips from the scene - he did have some own rips from actual DVDs, but that was only old movies from the video rental store. He/They don’t make any money off of it so let those aXXo lovers be and let them have their one CD crappy quality release.

aXXo beat the scene with this one. He upped a DvDrip before a proper version came out. Personally i dont care where i get movies from. But the sceners are just jealous of aXXo, therefore he ends up getting negative comments by them.

I’m not convinced that aXXo re-encodes. Take this rip here. It’s encoded at 640×272 which is the right way to do it i.e. both numbers are multiples of 16, and they work out to an aspect ratio that is almost exactly 2.35:1. The you go see an aXXo release. He always screws up the resolution, using numbers that don’t divide by 13 and that don’t respect the aspect ratio. He just released this movie and the resolution is 628 x 254. That’s a crap resolution to use. 628 is divisible by 8 (so that’s still just about OK) but 254 is only divisible by 2, not even 4. Plus the aspect ratio works out to 2.47:1, so the image is over-stretched.
So why would aXXo bother redefining the resolution if he was re-encoding. That always has a catastrophic effect on video quality - it’s like you’re watching the movie through net curtains.
No, I’d say the guy probably has access to source material in the same way as the scene guys, but systematically 2 or 3 days later. After all, he’s not in a race like the scene guys are.

i prefer movies on one disc, but i must say i dont care for quality, most movies these days never live up to the hype, and who really wants to see a shit movie in excellent quality? Grow up, if you like the movie, buy the official release, Im waiting for die hard, and many other official releases. i dont buy many dvds, but id rather have a nice collection on display of real discs, rather than a pile of cd-r’s or dvd-r’s.

@ resident devil…. rapidshare links will get this site pulled down so just put up with the torrent.. i dont know about you but i like using this site and getting real versions of what im downloading not some fake….. and no one answered me from ages ago?? why do they make a 2 cd release and not just a single file with the 5.1 sound quality… a dvd burner costs $70 AU and i got a 100 pack of TDK dvd-r’s for $49AU and i dont think the quality suffers too much when its encoded onto dvd.. ive never had a problem?!?!!? maybe people just like using cd’s… i seriously thought the whole 2 cd thing died with v-cd’’s i guess i was wrong!!
