LimeWire Pro v4.16.0 WinAll Retail-TUkEY

This program needs no intro, it’s everyone’s favourite P2P crap. Lol anyway, bit ironic scene hates P2P yet releases a P2P app, but it may come in handy for some of you out there!

LimeWire is a software package which enables individuals to search for and share computer files with anyone on the internet. LimeWire is compatible with the Gnutella file-sharing protocol and can connect with anyone else running Gnutella-compatible software.  At startup, the LimeWire program will connect, via the internet, to the LimeWire Gateway, a specialized intelligent Gnutella router, at startup to maximize the user’s viewable network space.

Features:

  • NO BUNDLED SOFTWARE OF ANY KIND!
    No spyware. No adware. Guaranteed.
  • Firewall to Firewall Transfers.
Since about 60% of users are currently firewalled, this feature greatly increases the amount of content on the network.
  • Faster network connections.
Using new “UDP Host Caches”, LimeWire starts up and connects faster than ever before!
  • Universal Plug ‘N Play.
UPnP support allows LimeWire to find more search results and have faster downloads.
  • iTunes Integration.
Windows and Mac users can now take advantage of LimeWire’s iTunes integration.

It’s good if you want to find single songs and stuff. If you want whole albums you are better of sticking to torrents and stuff. I have Limewire just in case I need a song or two without having to download a whole album. Worth downloading I think.

LimeWire Pro v4.16.0 What?? Isn’y 4.15.2 the latest BETA? How can it go to 4.16.0 when it isn’t even on the site?

    January 8th, 2008 | 17:04

    The “Scene” are divided.

    Like the catholics and protestant,
    like sunnis and shias,
like the orthodox jews and zionists.

I use Limewire for songs alot actually, torrents don’t have songs that p2p has (rare and newly released songs). it’s great, give it a try ;)

@2: You don’t have to download every file within a torrent, you can pick and choose, as well as set priorities.

    January 8th, 2008 | 17:25

@13, i still prefer p2p over utorrent for single mp3 download anyday. but torrents 1000 times better for whole (new) albums

limewire blows unless u want common generic songs its not worth it.. soulseek is a better p2p app that i have used anyway… i use both torrents for most things but for those singles i use soulseek.. hell the porn on limewire is the same after a while

    January 8th, 2008 | 18:07

@14 i use dc++ on a local hub for single songs, i get 100mbit on local (same isp/same city) trafic

for the rest my tocal private torrent tracker, still same great speeds, and the scene releaseas appera as fast as on rlslog

use public tracker only for exotic/rare/older content

  22. ian
    January 8th, 2008 | 18:08

strong dc++ much better; torrents much much better; ftp even better….who needs limewire ?!

  23. GRocks

  25. hankhandsome
    January 8th, 2008 | 18:21

i use soulseek for individual mp3 downloads.

you can download a track off that in about 60 seconds on average.

  26. mkeezay
    January 8th, 2008 | 18:24

I used to use limewire years ago when I first got a computer
after a while I got tired of fake files viruse mislabled files
it really just becomes frustrating experience searching through movie files looking for a real one.stick to torrents from reliable trackers.

  27. Me
    January 8th, 2008 | 18:32

    People still use this rubbish?

  28. Frustitute
    January 8th, 2008 | 19:02

    Virus prone LimeWire P2P. BTW,

    Kung.Fu.Fighter.2007.DVDRip.XviD-LAJ is out!

  29. ReelFiles
    January 8th, 2008 | 19:16

I use Ares for single song downloads, IF I can’t find them on bittorrent, which is extremely rare.

  30. ladsjfklds
    January 8th, 2008 | 19:23

not a bad program, too bad the gnutella network is filled with viruses and kiddie porn. Still, you can get some badass concert bootlegs off Limewire that you cant get anywhere else. Check out some of Tool’s live bootlegs on there; amazing!!

Oh and this program should be safe as long as there is no crack. You don’t need to crack or use a serial on Limewire Pro. You been warned. If there is a crack, its a virus and you shouldn’t use it cuz it aint necessary.

  31. Arkguil
    January 8th, 2008 | 19:28

for single song downloads and 0-day eletro EP releases i use eMule, because it’s got everything. I have NEVER not found a file on eMule. I’m not joking. you could be looking for early 90’s indian goa tracks and you would find them… MUCH better than this limewire crap anyways !! lol !!

  32. trance4ever
    January 8th, 2008 | 19:37

I’m using eMule too for single song downloads and torrents for movies. I gave up on Limewire years ago because of fake search results.

  34. Culture
    January 8th, 2008 | 20:04

well if you try searching some real culture and your not on huge private trackers your never find it with emule or gnuttella,..
i was searching for Getrude Stein - The Building of America (1925) ebook or audiobook and i gound it only with Shareaza (uses Gnutella 1,Gnutella 2 and eDonkey (aka eMule)) with only 2 pears took me 1 days to get 1rst in the waiting line, and another 4 hours downloading with 3kb/s

  35. costa200

  39. skeletor
    January 8th, 2008 | 20:55

Every computer I end up fixing with spyware/malware have either Limewire on them or have had them on there.

Generally they uninstall it before gets looked as, I assume because they think it is illegal so they don’t want me to see it.

have you guys heard of this great new program called napster?

  41. Pop006

@42, napster went the way of Metallica….

  42. Rekrul
    January 8th, 2008 | 21:32

    @32 Arkguil,

I wouldn’t say that eMule/eDonkey has EVERYTHING. for example, try to find English versions of the short-lived Fox show Night Visions. Every copy I’ve seen has been in Spanish.

  43. thikos
    January 8th, 2008 | 21:39

that lady up north in one of those tundras of a state got a $250,000 fine for sharing 24 songs…so I will most likely stick with IRC for single songs…but some times I do want another source to find rare songs…but with a little over 26,000 mp3s totalling over 20g of music….I should probably say “hell no!” to programs like these…oh yeah and limewire sucks…it’s ok when your 14…

  51. jgv115
    January 8th, 2008 | 23:00

limewire is also faster for single songs

for downloading albums i go to

@2 (Kanon) Just so you know, since I don’t see anyone addressing the release info issue you mentioned - the latest “regular” (meaning the free version available from download.com) was ver 4.16.6 - so this 4.16.0 Pro release should be the current one.

  75. ZenRhino
    March 24th, 2008 | 05:38

The only thing to remember if you use the rapidshare option is to put the two rar files (tulwp41a and tulwp41b) in the same folder before you open them with winrar or whatever you use.

Seems to work fine when I went from 4.16.6 “regular” to this 4.16.0 “pro”

ok, let me first say. hi. this is my first post on this site. this site is my fav site on the web. anywho….I need to say. i love limewire. for everything! movies mostly. I use this site as a reffrence for what is new and what names/file sizes to look for and then i search it. also limewire has his option when right clicking to go and check and see if the file is good or fake before downloading. there are alot of fake files on there but with this site and limewires option to check files….i think its excelent. just thought id add my 2 cents. thanks everyone for the great job.
