LimeWire Pro v4.12.15 Final Multilanguage WinAll Retail-CRD

Group Crude more known as CRD released a new version of extremely popular peer to peer application LimeWire Pro. It’s little sad that someone has to crack application which is designed mostly for getting exactly those kinds of cracked and pirated software, but that’s how it works in our world. Limewire works well mostly for music, but you won’t probably reach top speeds and getting new stuff through it is also pretty tough…

LimeWire allows you to search for multiple files at the same time, available in several different languages, and is most famous for its ease-of-use and cross-platform compatibility. LimeWire will run on Windows, Macintosh, Linux, Solaris, and other operating systems.

Product features:

  1. NO BUNDLED SOFTWARE OF ANY KIND!
    No spyware. No adware. Guaranteed.
  2. Firewall to Firewall Transfers.
Since about 60% of users are currently firewalled, this feature greatly increases the amount of content on the network.
  3. Faster network connections.
Using new “UDP Host Caches”, LimeWire starts up and connects faster then ever before!
  4. Universal Plug ‘N Play.
UPnP support allows LimeWire to find more search results and have faster downloads.
  5. iTunes Integration.
Windows and Mac users can now take advantage of LimeWire’s iTunes integration.
  6. Creative Commons Integration.
LimeWire now recognizes OGGs and MP3s licensed under a Creative Commons License.
  7. “What’s New?” feature.
Users can browse the network for the most recent content additions.
  8. Search drill down results.
Searches in LimeWire now immediately display information that fully describes files.
  9. Proxy support.
Users can now use web proxies to route their downloads to protect their identity.
  10. Support for International searches and International groups.
Users can now search in any language, and LimeWire ensures that a user will be connected to other users with their own language to aide international users to receive search results in their native language and to find content from sources that are close to home.

“It’s little sad that someone has to crack application which is designed mostly for getting exactly those kinds of cracked and pirated software…”

    Poetic Justice…

Nice to see such an application here, but I’ll stick to bittorent.

An excellent alternative to this, which is for free by default is FrostWire:

    http://www.frostwire.com/

Why does it look exactly like Limewire Pro?

“In late 2005, a few concerned developers of LimeWire’s open source community announced the start of a new project fork “FrostWire” that would protect the developmental source code of the LimeWire client and any improvements to the Gnutella protocol design. The developers of FrostWire give high regard and respect to the GNU General Public License and consider it to be the ideal foundation of a creative and free enterprise market.”

All this time they packed with spy and adware then they quit with this? Something smells fishy. Maybe rootkit or silent running something in the background. I’ll stick with bitorrent(sic) also.

Try Isohunt. It’s not as good as it was, but it gets the job done.

    @ NeoCenTek

Was it not just the Basic version that was adware ands spyware infested? Pro version always seemed fine a few years ago, haven’t used it for quite a while now though. BitTorrent ftw!

Limewire is definitely good for individual mp3 file downloads, whereas torrent sites are better for getting an entire cd or a few songs from a cd. Limewire is too frustrating to use for a very popular song, because there will be a gazillion hits on the song you’re trying to find, and if you do find one it will most likely not even start downloading or will be corrupt.

I will continue to use Limewire occasionally for certain mp3s, but for now I’ll stick with my beautiful Oink account.

People who dont know much about pcs or have no experience of using limewire shouldnt use it… Ive seen my friends and they would search for a song then they would click one which is about 15kb and is 9/10 times a virus;…. bahhhh

Does anyone remember Kazaa? Limewire is just like it with lots and lots of crap being uploaded.

But, as previous speakers have said, good for finding single songs. And ofcourse, theres that Steven spielberg crank call and britney spears naked at 5 kbytes each.

I used to use Kazaa. Never tried Limewire, Everyone I know that uses limewire always has tons of spyware and viruses so i’ve been hesitant.

Toss Limewire if you still use it and get Frostwire it’s got no DRM and is a opensource project.
