Letters From Iwo Jima DVDSCR XviD-CAMERA

All 4 movies that are nominated for Best Picture have been released and now the last and 5th comes online. Babel, The Queen, The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine and now “Letters From Iwo Jima” the same story as “Flags of our Fathers” but from the side of the Japanese. The movies is also directed by Oscar Winner “Clint Eastwood”. Group CAMERA that brings most of all CAM releases surprises us with a DVDScr. But I cannot understand how a movies that is 140min can get in single file of 700MB.

Edit: And within’ few minutes they update: [Nuked] [mislabeled.TS_bad.ivtc_downsampled.audio]

Sixty-one years ago, US and Japanese armies met on Iwo Jima. Decades later, several hundred letters are unearthed from that stark island’s soil. The letters give faces and voices to the men who fought there, as well as the extraordinary general who led them.

The Japanese soldiers are sent to Iwo Jima knowing that, in all probability, they will not come back. Among them are Saigo (Kazunari Ninomiya), a baker who wants only to live to see the face of his newborn daughter; Baron Nishi (Tsuyoshi Ihara), an Olympic equestrian champion known around the world for his skill and his honor; Shimizu (Ryo Kase), a young former military policeman whose idealism has not yet been tested by war; and Lieutenant Ito (Shidou Nakamura), a strict military man who would rather accept suicide than surrender.

Leading the defense is Lt. General Tadamichi Kuribayashi (Ken Watanabe), whose travels in America have revealed to him the hopeless nature of the war but also given him strategic insight into how to take on the vast American armada streaming in from across the Pacific.

With little defense other than sheer will and the volcanic rock of the island itself, Gen. Kuribayashi’s unprecedented tactics transform what was predicted to be a quick and bloody defeat into nearly 40 days of heroic and resourceful combat. Almost 7,000 American soldiers were killed on Iwo Jima; more than 20,000 Japanese troops perished. The black sands of Iwo Jima are stained with their blood, but their sacrifices, their struggles, their courage and their compassion live on in the letters they sent home.

From Academy Award winner Clint Eastwood (”Million Dollar Baby,” “Unforgiven”) comes the untold story of the Japanese soldiers and their General who, 61 years ago, defended against the invading American forces on the island of Iwo Jima…

Any particular reason why “Clint Eastwood” is in quotes?

Hopefully a decent rip will come out soon – although I’ll probably buy the DVD when it comes out.

Horrible, just horrible. The subtitle looks like someone translated using google’s translater tool. If you read it, it sounds like papa smurf or worst yoda speaking.

Clues that this is not a DVDSCR release — yoda subtitle, audio not synced, people coughing, and video quality stinks.

i saw this movie yesterday… it was in the smallest theatre in the Cinemaplex 20 that i live near… i only paid $5 USD so it wasnt bad for the price… i downloaded/saw Flags of Our Fathers from the DVDSCR i got here, but NOW i wished i had seen it in the theatre as one misses much seeing it on the small screen…

also news to report… “Hannibal Rising” is WORTH the matinee cinema price of $5 USD… i saw it Thursday and it was AWESOME on the big screen… so it seems that the more i download stuff the more i go to the movies!!! I WISH the MPAA would see this correlation and get off our asses of trying to sue/jail us for getting torrent movies… they don’t realize it allows us to see which movies are REALLY sucky and NOT go and then GO to the GOOD movies in the Theatre and Pay FULL PRICE!!!

Case In Point: I downloaded the cam of DEJA VU some months ago and was SO taken by it i went the NEXT day and saw it in the cinema!!! But does the MPAA homos care about that NOO???

in my opinion, torrents are similiar to long commercials… they make me see more movies than i would if i NEVER downloaded! ah maybe one day they will smarten up and leave us in the SCENE alone! Maybe! LOL! Have a GREAT week all my fellow ScEnEsTeRs!!!

This is not a screener copy and is a TS 1 hour and 45 mins long.. You have to read anyway so the sound really does not matter but if you have seen flags of our fathers then you will want to see this but you should wait for a real screener!!!
