FYI, the DVDRip of this vampire movie “Let The Right One In” came out earlier from the notorious VoMiT, and now 720p BluRay Rip is available from SEPTiC. This is a 2008 Swedish romantic horror film directed by Tomas Alfredson. It is based on the novel of the same name by John Ajvide Lindqvist.

PLOT: A fragile, anxious boy, 12-year-old Oskar is regularly bullied by his stronger classmates but never strikes back. The lonely boy’s wish for a friend seems to come true when he meets Eli, also 12, who moves in next door to him with her father. A pale, serious young girl, she only comes out at night and doesn’t seem affected by the freezing temperatures. Coinciding with Eli’s arrival is a series of inexplicable disappearances and murders. One man is found tied to a tree, another frozen in the lake, a woman bitten in the neck. Blood seems to be the common denominator–and for an introverted boy like Oskar, who is fascinated by gruesome stories, it doesn’t take long before he figures out that Eli is a vampire…….

    This is English dubbed version. The original audio is Swedish.

    SEPTiC has always had one of the most useless NFO's around, but this is just ridiculous. How could you fail to mention that?

    Was going to download this, but realised that it was dubbed. Jesus! I thought that was something only stupid countries like Germany and Spain did. Who the hell wants to see a movie with dubbed actors?

    I had no idea that they dubbed in English.
    Is there a sample of the English dubbing? I'd like to here the voices.
    BTW the voice of Eli is not Lina Leandersson's it's dubbed with a deeper voice.

    Dual audio is against scene rules if I remember right and regardless, this does not have two audio tracks.

    Is it possible for me if i downloaded this file could i convert it to xvid, scrap the 5.1 sound etc & keep a 1-2CD XVID AVI.
    I have not got Blueray Hardware ,could a program convert it ????

    reason-i hate subs & i havnt seen a dubbed xvid

    Seriously, watch films in their intended language, to watch this dubbed in English would be a sin. If you can't handle subs, then just watch some other american rubbish…

    FYI to all they are making another version of the movie that will be in english, not sure if it's in the making already or not but i read awhile back that the director plans on making an american version as well.

    the director is NOT making an american version, but some other people are. apparently the director is pissed about it but the author of the book is happy that another interpretation is being made.

    i agree with the 'best vampire movie ever' declaration.

    Apparently I'm too stupid to sync up the audio from Vomit with the video from this… anyone have instructions I could follow or any plans to upload a version of this with the Swedish audio?

    If anyone's curious, I used a program called "Super" to rip the audio from the 2 Vomit files, then combined them with a trial version of "Wave Joiner". Then I used "MKVmerge" (like luka said) to combine the video from this .mkv and the new .wav file I created into a new .mkv. The audio was still off so I just used the "Extended Options" in VLC to adjust the timing.

    Nevermind… the audio syncs up for awhile and then messes up. Hopefully someone will release a .mkv with Swedish audio and correct subtitles :)

    I am completely mesmerized by this movie and would really want to see it in HD now.. The dubbed SEPTiC is annoying. I'll be checking this commentary form a lot. If anyone finds a good x264 version with untouched 5.1 Swedish audio please let us all know =)
