Last Of The Summer Wine S30E01 HDTV XviD-BiA

The longest running comedy series in the world started out, as many British comedy successes did, with a 1973 episode of the BBC series “Comedy Playhouse”. The basis was simple but complex at the same time, telling the stories of three old men, who in all essence couldn’t be more young at heart. New season begins, brought to you in HDTV Rip by BiA.

EP 30.1 I Was A Hitman For Primrose Dairies

Hobbo, a former milkman with ties to MI5, arrives in the village and forms a group of villagers, namely Alvin and Entwistle, ready to react to emergency situations in the village.

" Hobbo, a former milkman with ties to MI5, arrives in the village "

Christ. You can tell they are on the last few plot ideas now. I wouldn't suspect that my milkman knew government secrets.. though maybe my postman, all that mail he gets to look at.

@3 : Not really. I watch this show all the time in NZ. It's actually a decent show. I love the two police officers that are in the show. Also all the antics they get upto. Admittedly it's not the US style comedy, or the UKexport like Office that gets remade with US actors. It's a the whole britishness that makes it awesome.

You don't have to be old to enjoy programmes like this, you just have to be able to appreciate all types of humour, not just "adult" humour, I enjoy comedies from all over the world, providing I can understand or read what they're saying :) . It's good clean family entertainment, and it's nice to see some of the "older" British stars back on TV in a regular slot, Brian Murphy still looks the same as he did back in the days of "George & Mildred".

I've seen old eps (think late 70's) of this on my local PBS station but couldn't get into it… Too dry to stick with in my opinion- but I also like some of the stuff Sacha Baron Cohen comes up with.

That very fact may disqualify my opinion in some people's view ;)
