Last Comic Standing S05E01-E02 Auditions No 1 and No 2 PDTV XviD-FQM
In the past four seasons of Last Comic Standing, they have focused on only who is the funniest comic in America. Now they have decided to go world-wide, and to see how the world’s funniest comics stack-up against America’s best (ooh, how original! – not ) . Once the top contestants from each chosen contest compete against each other, the top prize is an NBC ‘talent contract’ , a Bravo comedy special, and $250,000 . I have to disagree with Bill Bellamy – NYC is not the greatest city in the world. It would be on the bottom 100 list. I have to agree though, with Kathleen Madigan when she says that some of the contestants are actually seriously crazy. In the later half of the show, the Last Comic crew search Canada for the worthy contestants. For some reason, TV.com has forgotten that season five has aired so it is not quite in their database yet.
In the fifth-season opener, a global quest to find the funniest comic begins with star searches in New York City, Montreal and San Antonio. Bill Bellamy is the new host. Alonzo Bodden, ANT and Kathleen Madigan serve as talent scouts.

Its this ‘global’ as in the whole world or as in the ‘World’ series baseball where its pretty much just the U.S competing? We have some funny F**kers here in Ireland.
