A young couple (Patrick Wilson and Kerry Washington) has just moved into their California dream home when they become the target of their next-door neighbor, who disapproves of their interracial relationship. Why are these synch fixes allowed, surely the whole relese should be nuked and a new proper version allowed… seams to me it rewards the groups who jump the gun and release without checking a 2nd chance

what does the syncfix contain – is it basically a copy of mencoder or avisynth and a batch file or something?
just give us the command as we already have the binaries.
a quick scan through and the audio looks fine to me anyway, certainly the beginning and near the end, unlikely there’s a bit in the middle thats out.
did anyone else notice that the audio is INCREDIBLY QUIET though? i mean i had to have the volume up to 50 instead of 25-30 i normally do.
Someone please just get me a syncfix patch

If you already have the movie the sync isnt that bad, it only goes out of sync for about 25 seconds at 38:50. Wasnt a huge deal for me as only 3 sentences were affected.

Use original avi file called “coa-lakeview-xvid.avi”, rename if the tag name is different:
Fixed audio, available in this folder, called “syncfixed.lake.mp3″ will be used to correct sync issues
make sure that AVI and new MP3 audio fixed is in this extracted folder. now run CD.BAT. You will have a new fixed avi file called “coa-lakeview-skf-xvid.avi”

FULL xvid codec will be installed on your system.

was gonna ditch the R5 before I’ve watched it if it was completely out of sync … but if it’s just a few seconds that dont matter
Saw the original R5 yesterday. There was about 1 minute of sync problem about half way through but after that it came back to normal and watched it fine.
About the movie, at first I thought it was going to suck but it wasn’t that bad. Truth is though that without Samuel L. Jackson in it, no one would even bother. Still a nice late night watch if you really like sam
so basically no need getting a file 100mb in size for a few seconds of going out of sync
why dont we all just wait for a proper????

The sync fix doesn’t work for me.
*sigh*
Coalition’s releases seem to always have minor sync issues, sometimes on my settop player, I have to pause and hit play to get the audio back. Other release groups, this doesn’t happen. Wonder what they do different.
Not knocking them, btw.
…and you don’t really need the syncfix, it’s a very brief oos, grab it if you don’t have the movie yet!

the sync fix works perfect if you name your file exactly as stated in the readme file, it fixed the sync issue at 38:50 on mine
no need for the synch fix. unless your THAT snobby.
IMHO movie is not very good 5/10. the quality is awesome except for that small scene.

Ya, This is what I did, took less than a min, then the out of sync part was corrected
1. Use original avi file called “coa-lakeview-xvid.avi”, rename if the tag name is different:
2. Extract files in .rar to folder with original AVI, make sure that AVI and “syncfixed.lake.mp3″is in this extracted folder. now run CD.BAT.
(make sure the .dll files are there as well, vorbis.dll, vorbisfile.dll, sylia.dll, etc. You get the idea.)
It will create a new file called “coa-lakeview-skf-xvid.avi”
