   Interesting off-topic info I found earlier that i thought users of RLSLOG might be interested in:

   1) Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has won a legal battle against Usenet.com on grounds of copyright infringement, with a judgement that could be "hundreds of millions". my vote: big shame, usenet is the new target…

   2) Pirate Bay .org has hit with DDOS spamming that effectively shut it down yesterday, as millions of users protested at the 'firesale' to "Global Gaming Factory X AB for nearly $7.8 million" (basically covering the fines TPB owners were given with their jail term). users see this as a grab the money and run, with no guarentee TPB will remain a free tracker. My vote: At least the site is staying up, but this is a chickensh!t way out. if your n00bish enough to torrent, you can guarentee TPB will be logged, checked and charged, possibly made a pay monthly tracker too.
