Korpiklaani-Keep On Galloping-CDS-2008-gF

We’ve been really quiet on the music front here recently, probably due to the large amount of great movie releases in the past couple of weeks, so I think its time for a music release. On a side note, fans of Drum & Bass can look forward to the February issue of Drum & Bass Delirium, most likely before the end of the week since I’ll be away at the turn of the month. Anyways, this is the first single to appear from Finnish folk-metallers Korpiklaani. Both songs on the single will be featured on their upcoming album “Korven Kuningas”, so this is a little preview. This is a really great single in my opinion and only 12 MB big, so whether you’re a fan of metal or not, give it a try.

Metal with only guitars, drums and vocals is getting boring. We need more bands like Finntroll, Trollfest, Therion, Haggard, Turisas, Korpkiklaani, Rhapsody etc.

My sincere apologies @22 yesterday(18 february 08) there was a banner on the site saying; that the MPAA closed it down … i refer to this wiki entry:http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/TorrentFreak.com The wiki is changed back to normal now…

    February 19th, 2008 | 20:43

First track so so, second one much better. BTW does anyone else think it sort of defeats the whole purpose of folk metal if you sing in English to gain mainstream appeal?

Ah, Finnish Metal bands. Gotta love ‘em! I’ve heard of this band before, they are saposse to be phenomenal and they are. I’ve listened to them. This Finnish band will probably go in the Hall of Fame one day. Right in between Lordi & Apocalyptica.
