Kool G Rap - Half A Klip [2008]
Group C4 releases the latest album by gangsta-rapper Kool G Rap, one of the old skool rappers. Kool G Rap started his rap career during the 80’s in the group “Kool G Rap & Polo”, but the music he makes today is very different from the gangsta rap which emerged back then. This is the first solo album from Kool G Rap in 6 years and the track “On The Rise Again” features the legendary DJ Premier. If you’re a hip-hop fan you should definitely check this album out.

Nathaniel Wilson (born July 20, 1968), known by stage name Kool G Rap, is a hardcore American rapper from the Corona section of Queens, New York. Although significant commercial success has largely eluded G Rap, he has gathered a reputation as one of hip hop’s grittiest, and most consistent lyricists. In particular, his multi-syllabic rhyme patterns have proven to be influential upon a slew of latter day rappers such as Eminem, and Big Pun.

this is a good release, though kool g rap cant really be labelled as straight gangta, why is it assumed anything to do with hip hop means your some g, hip hop means graffiti bboying djin rappin beatboxing. a couple of the comments here are completely of the mark
