LOL has just released the Series Premiere of Knight Rider. I personally am not going to watch this, I wasn’t a fan of the made for TV movie that aired last year, didn’t like how it was made. But I know a lot of you will want this. I am waiting for a MacGyver remake!!!! Enjoy!

    There was actually a spin-off show that never got picked up for Macguyver staring the guy from Supernatural. HE played the nephew of Mac. Some scenes are on Youtube. Heres a link to the first clip:

    I thought they already aired this on TV or I must have seen a pilot a very long time ago. Its so so. Val Kilmer is good though. MacGuyver remake would be awesome for today’s modern audiences.

    I know people were disappointed to see a different car for KITT but the Shelby GT500KR is a sick looking car! Anyone who owns this car in the UK would be crying at how much petrol this drinks (probably as much as the 2005 Ford GT ~ 75 miles on a full tank of petrol) with current fuel prices.

    First off, I love Burn Notice, but if you ever compare that to MacGyver, I’ll blow your computer up!
    Secondly, I remember the story that never got picked up about his nephew or whatever, lame.
    And third, it can ONLY, and I mean, ONLY, be played by Richard Dean Anderson. Doesn’t even have to be a new series, just at least a 7 night mini series ;) .
    I was all excited like 2 years ago, there was a MacGyver MasterCard commercial, and he was on the Simpsons, I was so damn sure there was going to be a new, at least, movie with him!!!

    This episode is utterly crap, the pilot from some month ago was alright not that good but you know watchable and at least a little bit entertaining but this now wtf?

    I watch a lot US series and seen some really crappy stuff but this is actually the worst I’ve ever seen, it is really that bad that I couldn’t stand to watch it through.

    Don’t even look at this it’s just sad, they’ve really ruined it.

    Surely the show cant be that bad. The movie was OK, but doesn’t compare to the original series.

    Like most new shows, thought, they need to get into it a bit more before the good stuff starts happening. It’s how most things go these days. Shows like Heroes and Prison Break are the (excellent) exceptions, so we cant bash this after just one episode.

    Check out that sweet ride lol. Who needs KITT when you have the GUTS mobiles LOL It about sums up how I feel about the show lol. I also do think that KITT with like a freaking sweet voice like lewis black would make me watch the show. I mean tell me that you would not watch lewis black as KITT

    Anyone watch this?

    The made for tv movie was ok, nothing special, but this tv series is absolutely ridiculous and a direct insult to the original knight rider show.

    Let’s see… lets make kit a transformer and steal transformation effects from Viper (kick ass tv show BTW) and oh wait, we definitely need to make kit (the car) be able to fly.

    I am absolutely disappointed with this crap of a remake. Way wayyy too fake.

    I just watched HALF of this show and had to turn it off. I can stomach shows with AWFUL dialogue, bad scripts, endless cliche’s, cheesy effects OR bad actors. But when you combine all of those into a show that seems to cram them into nanosecond soundbites…? No thanks.

    This makes the Charlie’s Angels movies look like high theater. Seriously, how can this air on a major network? You KNOW it’s bad when you find yourself wishing David Hasselhoff (the drunken version even!) were starring in it. Hell, just put Hasselhoff in a Radio Flyer wagon and it’d be more enjoyable. I swear I lost brain cells watching what little I did.

    HOLY $%#@! That was just unbelievably bad. When that girl took off her clothes it was good for a couple seconds but even that was just horrible writing. Anyone ever wonder why you would buy the most expensive mustang ever made, just to tear everything out that makes it a KR500 except for the seats? I know for the show KR stands for Knight Rider but the whole show just makes me want to throw up on Ford and I’ve always liked Ford Racing.
