Kitchen Nightmares S02E00 WS PDTV XviD-XOR
Group XOR released the Season Premier of Gordon Ramsey’s Kitchen Nightmares. I’ve aways been a fan of his, I’m not one that likes reality shows, or cooking shows, but I like the way he does it. Unfortunetly, this 2 hour episode really isn’t anything new, it is a ‘revisited’ episode. Gordon goes back to visit 6 of the restaraunts he helped out in the previous season. The actual season starts on the 11th.
Revisited: Gordon Returns
Chef Ramsay will revisit six different restaurants that had previously been on the brink of disaster. Around a year ago, Chef Ramsay helped these restaurants make changes in their menu, décor, and mission. Chef Ramsay will visit Peter’s Italian Restaurant in Babylon, NY; The Mixing Bowl in Bellmore, NY; The Olde Stone Mill in Tuckahoe, NY; Dillon’s in New York City; Finn McCool’s in West Hampton, NY; and Campania in Fair Lawn, NJ. After Chef Ramsay made his changes, most of these restaurants experienced immediate success. However, the question remains of if these restaurants were able to find permanent and profitable success. Kitchen Nightmares revisited will let viewers know how these restaurants are doing now.

gordon ramsay is really good. however, the american version of kitchen nightmares is crap compared to the british one.
the british show is largely driven by him. he does the low key voice over, and carries the show. you watch it, and you’re watching him. plus the focus on food is more prominent.
the american version, on the other hand, is basically a formulaic cheesy fox reality show, complete with cheesy voice over, stock sound effects on the transitions, and nothing but clips of arguments the entire time. and gordon is almost like a small feature of the show, rather than being the show’s focus.
i mean, there’s plenty of juicy reality action that we all love on the british version, but it’s given in succulent little bites, punctuated by gordon’s always-enjoyable presence.
fox has stripped this show of all its redeeming qualities and basically made what has ended up being like “the bachelor” or any other such standard, color-by-numbers american reality show.
now all that said, i still do watch the american one. it’s still better than most things on fox, but it utterly pales in comparison to the original.
While Hell’s Kitchen is a guilty pleasure, this show is just guilty of not living up to the original RKN’s quality and authenticity.
Ramsay has a bizarre dichotomy in his television persona on each side of the pond. Here in North America he’s the loud man who happens to cook, but back home in the UK he’s a chef, who happens to swear a lot. Not once on US Kitchen Nightmares do you see Ramsay getting down and dirty with actual cooking and menu design, whereas it’s a key component of the UK show.
Yeah, they tend to gloss over any sort of cooking Ramsay does and simply hype up all of the drama.
And how they waste so much time with those talking heads that they have to squeeze all of the real developments towards the ends, covered in a one second insert.
I would of though the UK version would come out first. I’d hate to think that Gordon is turning over anything he does in the UK to the US version.

use flashget to get files larger than 250mb or better yet get an account, downloads will go at your full bandwidth.
