anyone who also got problems with saves after this update?

After using this update I didnt see my saved game!
I used the earlier updates and all was fine. although I updated to 1.0.0.2 with the Theta one I tried this too, to see maybe it adds the pacakges.
After seeing my saves dont appear I downloaded the Theta again and replaced the files, and my old saves are back.
Z3r0 thats because SKIDROW places saves elsewhere so the game couldnt detect ur previous saves from when u did play the THETA rls, so thats why when u got back to THETA the saves came back too, simple as that, i think this skidrow patch has included the one patch THETA rlsd before the 1.0d something, i dont think there are armor packs and so on included in this, its just both of the pathces in one
what a funny changelog. Was also hoping for some news about the dlc, but there’s no info about them.
This update DOES include the armor packs!
I just use both updates with 2 diferent profiles and 2 diferent named EXE’s.
After checking this update it does include those packs, which wait for you in the “downloaded content” box near the house in the first village.
(those 3 packs include 3 armor sets for the 3 classes + 1 weapon of each kind in he game – so mage gets Chaks, staff and the third thingy etc. the armor sets are of lower lvl stats)
so do saves stay or are corrupt after update?

Those armor packs and weapons in DLC will just ruin the game as they are extremely OP,so i’ll pass on this.

Indeed it is.This is the last game i downloaded from SKIDROW,not gonna download anything else from them unless they make a release nobody else did or will.
THETA haves false positives in almost every release,thats the only thing that annoys me with them,other then that they are good group.
I wish they’d hurry up with the FOV fix, I have got a wicked headache from playing it, can’t play it now because of that.
Never had that with any other game.
I’d be very pissed off if I’d paid for it!!

The hell are you talking about?FOV is perfectly fine as long as you have maxed out the resolution in the game.
Not all DLCs are available in this release, it miss, for example “Shepard’s Armour Set” of “Fade-touched Weapon pack”.
Also, this game is full of little annoying bugs, for example :
- House of Ballad’s armor set cannot be removed from inventory after corresponding quest is done.
Considering you have limited inventory space it’s a serious issue…
I hope there will be a patch soon to fix all thoses issues and I hope someone will release missing DLCs.

easy trick with skidrow update.. just don’t copy skidrow.ini file.. and your savegame will be fine..
If you really can’t navigate your OS or find it to difficult to find a game save drawer, you could try something like Gamesave Manager. It’s a handy little tool and is constantly updated.

oh and FOV is just perfect in this game
@52 You do realize that a large group of people (larger than those that are color blind in fact) have an issue such that if the game has too narrow FOV that they will get headaches and the game will become playable for them? The reason it’s an issue is because 90 degrees FOV is *unnatural* considering humans have a FOV of close to 180 degrees. The lack of peripheral vision causes an exaggeration in movement, causing motion sickness.
