King of Clubs-ViTALiTY

ViTALiTY strikes back with another new game release: King of Clubs won’t probably write the history, but you can have fun for few hours with this puzzle game. It’s basically minigolf with sort of funny players and locations in dirty cheap graphic interface. The whole game fits on 1 CD. There’s been also a Crackfix released, due to unsufficient testing of the original crack (booo ViTALiTY).

The sun blazes down relentlessly here in the Nevada desert. Route 66 is nearby but not that many cars pass this way. You could say it’s rather deserted…but all that is set to change because Big Bubba, the state’s leading entrepreneur is about to transform this less than lively location into a thriving tourist attraction! He may not have big bucks to invest but he’s got plenty of imagination and drive. This summer, this hot and dusty corner of the USA will become Nevada’s No.1 holiday hot spot!

Game features:

  • Collect, unlock, or buy rewards to complete a variety of puzzles across five themes including Egyptian, Prehistoric, Medieval, Futuristic and Tropical – each with its own quirky resident pro/boss.
  • Outwit your friends or beat the pros over 96 puzzling levels – and a chance for a ‘hole in none’ on every one.
  • Endless ways of completing each puzzle, King of Clubs offers enormously long-lasting playability.
  • Multiple game modes and a choice of matchplay or strokeplay for up to four players
  • Customise the colour, pattern and trail of your ball in the pro shop;
  • “Quack packs” to personalise the sounds made by the player’s club and balls.
  • On-course ‘pick up’ items to be collected to throughout each round – such as cash bags, shot savers (reduces stroke count), bonus letters & mulligan tokens (which can be used to replay a bad shot at no cost to stroke count).
  • Don’t just use a standard putter and ball – try out the speed ball, flight lite ball or glue ball and give it some welly with a selection of crazy clubs including the power putter 2000, or even the guide supreme!

    Set in a dilapidated theme park in the middle of the Nevada desert, King of Clubs looks like a cross between an amateur theatrical production and a kitsch vintage Americana playground paradise for jerky-lovin’ trailer trash! Complete with pteranodons on poles, spaceships on string and wobbly waves (plus so much more!), each themed world comes complete with its own quirky resident pro/boss, whom players must beat in order to advance to the next level before ending up in a showdown with the top guy himself, Big Bubba King.

    With multiple game modes and the choice of matchplay or strokeplay for up to four players using either a multi-tap or sharing two controllers, plus the chance on every hole to score a one-shot win.

    King of Clubs won’t set the world alight
    King of Clubs won’t write the history books
    King of Clubs probably won’t go down in history as a classic game

    any of those would make more sense

    The company web site doesn’t inspire much confidence. No screenshots, no system requirements, the link to the forum doesn’t even work.
