Killing Ariel 2006 DVDRip XviD-DOMiNO
Killing Ariel is a pretty eye-catching title for a film, so this definitely caught my eye even though its a rather unknown Horror flick. The idea for the film seems pretty good so I think I’ll give this a watch, plus I’m a fan of cheap, gory horror flicks and from what I’ve seen of the film it seems to be one of those. The film seems to have a sort of 70’s feel to it which really reminds me of The Shining, plus at some points the main character really looks like Jack Nicholson (just look at the snap below). This is one of those films that deserve support, so if you enjoyed the film, buy the DVD when it is released (the filmmakers are currently looking for distributors).
Quality: Often its pretty pointless in cases like these to have a quality section like this, but I like to make it a habit so people get used to the layour of my posts. 986kb/s video bitrate and 128kb/s audio bitrate is what you’d expect from a good 1CD DVDRip. Thanks to DOMiNO for this rls.
One night, a female demon attacks Rick, a contentedly married man. Under the spell of the demon, he takes a beautiful young woman, Ariel, off to an isolated house for a weekend fling. There, bizarre and frightening things happen, and accidentally Rick kills Ariel. But she won’t stay dead. He soon realizes that she is the demon that first attacked him. He defends himself by killing her again. And again. But no matter how many times he kills her, she keeps coming back. When he finally escapes and returns home, he discovers that his life has disappeared into a nightmare of madness, lust, adultery, and cold-blooded murder.

Not bad at all if you’re into slasher movies.

Groundhog Day + The Shining = Killing Ariel?
I’d rather not waste the bandwidth and the viewing time if its going to be rubbish but let us know what you think if you do watch it and are not part of the film crew.
The story sounds half decent but I’ve been caught out by a good synopsis many a time, and definitely IMDB is unreliable if you take the word of 10 out of ten reviews. I’d trust the I hate this movie people over the second coming of christ reviews any day though. so much bad stuff out there.

True, King’s written intention is horror-like, like most of his books, but Kubrick’s movie is so much more, or less, if you like. See it again.
this movie is boooring. nothing really happens until the 2/3 of the movie. even then it’s not that engaging at all. this movie doesn’t deserve any kind of support.
Michael Brainard is the next big thing. Trust me. This guy does insane in the quiet freaky way and this film reminds me of the old 70’s suspense/horror flicks, like Burnt Offerings(Karen Black, Oliver Reed) or Race with the Devil (Henry Fonda, Warren Oates). Brainard stands out. Who is this guy? This one will keep you awake for days.
well, simply put, i think those that are hating on this movie are wrong. i liked it a lot, it was decently scary and, to me, the incubus/succubus plot felt fresh. 7.5/10
classic film, I’m definitely going to be buying and recommending it. I didn’t really find any of it scary, 1 part made me jump, right at the beginning, when the kid falls over and matey boy is RIGHT THERE, other then that it’s a pretty fearless drive through insanity.
But all in all, it’s not a horror, slasher, or gore flick, it has none of those elements. I thought the acting was almost spot on, a few things here and there, but generally well done.
I just watched this film and to be honest i didnt expect much from it since it obviosly hadnt the biggest budget,but thrust me guys…if you dont expect a typical slash-horror,but a good worked out suspensehorror then WATCH IT! I never expected such a great acting by such a unknown guy like brainard…just WOW!
This is nothing more than just a B movie.
The main actress of the film “Ariel” was pretty damn ugly!
She didn’t fit the role at all. It was aweful seeing her face in this film. It could have been a great movie, but too bad it’s not.
