Releaselog

Kevin’s new personal blog

Kevin, our former editor, decided to launch his own blog and he asked me to give it a small plug at Releaselog. He did a good work posting new releases and news here so why not to help him a bit with the beginning…

Hey RLSLOG readers, it’s Kevin. I’ve decided to keep on blogging but not about anything scene related. I’ve made my own blog to blog about all kinds of things and I encourage people to discuss this in the comments. My blog will have all the hottest news that’s game-, movie-, software-, hardware- and real life related. I will blog about all kinds of things and maybe at one point I’ll find the sweet spot and then specialize in the most popular topics. I’ll also try to get some real life news from myself on there if it’s discussable and worth mentioning. I’ll also go into great detail when it comes to software and hardware as well as movies, I’ll try to teach you all as much as possible so we can all be on the same level a few months down the road. I hope you all like the news, as well as the way I bring it and we could have a great time ahead of us. *Note:* Old versions of IE don’t support my theme. The latest IE and all Firefox versions support it though so all it takes is to get the latest IE if you use IE and you’ll be fine.

    yay another blog! wheeeeeee!

Yeah the site does load slow at first but that’s mainly because of the theme that exists out of multiple layers of PNG images to simulate a reflection in the theme itself. It’s not smart, but it does look cool and once you get passed the first time of loading the images up you’ll never have to wait that long again. Unless of course you throw away your temporary internet files AKA cached files.

The site looks good, it loads pretty fast for me. Glad to see more tech stuff and info.

If the news is important, and RLSLOG missed it or hasn’t gotten around to posting it, it’ll be on my blog! I still check RLSLOG every now and then so I’ll know when reposting RLSLOG news is worth it and when it isn’t. But also keep in mind I always add my own take on news, while RLSLOG news is limited to just that, news.

As popular as RLSLOG? One can only hope. :P Maybe if RLSLOG would stop… Otherwise I don’t see my blog becoming more popular then RLSLOG.

    i agree with nektak.
make it brighter and also try to create short pages like rslog.

  16. March 16th, 2007 | 19:31

That was my intention, to post news that isn’t on RLSLOG. And short pages? What do you mean by short pages?

  17. March 16th, 2007 | 21:48

Ziet er goed uit… keep it up!

  18. March 17th, 2007 | 01:14

Yeah I changed it (made it 25 posts a page) because of the huge wave of visitors. I didn’t want people missing out on any posts. I’ll change it so it fits the Google Ads I’ve added in the sidebar.

yes guys that’s exactly what i meant.
the topics are very good kevin. if only you would change the template……. (the color is a little harsh on the eye.)
i am only saying is that try changing the template for a few days(if it is possible).if is looks good, stick with it. otherwise you can revert back.

Hmm, yeah and this theme is kinda of hard to work with. Meh, let me see what I can do. ;-)
