Here is that new album My December from Kelly Clarkson that some of you were probably waiting for. This release came out couple of days ago but i didn’t post it as i was very busy but anyway this was released by group SAW so you can expect a good audio quality from them. As i have said before in my previous post of her single, she is a winner of American Idol so is pretty well known. The album is due to be out the 22nd of June which is in a couple of days time. My December is the third studio album by American pop/rock singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson. The album will be released on June 22, 2007 in Germany and Italy, June 23, 2007 in Australia, June 25, 2007 in UK and Poland and on June 26, 2007 in the United States and Canada. Clarkson confirmed the name of the album in her journal on her fanclub website on February 27, 2007. Clarkson has stated in interviews that she has written or co-written on every track on the album.
Kelly Brianne Clarkson (born April 24, 1982 in Fort Worth, Texas) is an American singer-songwriter who has enjoyed success in the pop genres. Clarkson made her debut under RCA Records after she won the highly publicized first season of the television series American Idol in 2002. She was originally marketed as a pop musician with her debut album ThankfulBreakaway (2004), Clarkson moved to a more pop rock-oriented style of music, and won two Grammy Awards. SoniKalien suprisingly this was one person from the show that actually could sing and has proven it through several of her chart topping hits. I am suprised somebody of this quality came from that show.

Tis is awesome. I heard all songs on much music. I cant believe Never Again only reached #8 and that Sober has bearly any airplay. How I Feel should be da next single!!!

Brrr…This album is just utter crap, all this rotten hard rock etc…What is Kelly thinking? From cool pop/rock Breakaway to this horrid hard rock grinds (pure headache!), sorry stinks! Its not Gothic like the cover looks either…Abrasive hard rock, and most tracks sound very similar, and the first single bitter and hard…Just will drop it on ebay! Kelly can do better, sorry!
As a whole the album stinks. The wanna be goth cover that reaks of the Evanesence “Call Me When Your Sober” video and heck, the album title even is borrowed from a song. As for the music, a few songs are OK but even they seem like they could have been better polished…the rest…blah. The Avril approach of whining in your songs doesn’t fit Kelly well at all. This album is a model of why an artist shouldn’t always write ever song they sing and why a good production team is needed to guide a good album. I think she just had to much personal involvment in this one and sadly (since she fired her firm) we will probably see more of this junk in the future. To bad since she has such a great voice.
I never saw Kelly on American Idol, I was introduced to her music by a friend and I have bought everything so far. I think she has a great, original sound and what a voice, and I am 54 years old. I’ve always loved music but Kelly is something different for a change. Keep it coming Kelly.
