R&B legend Keith Sweat is back with ‘Just Me’ a stunning CD that is sure to please his massive fanbase. The duets, the production, the flavour – sexy & soulful – is all still there for the Sweatster. The album carries a lot of urban flavor, but at the same time, a reminder of Keith’s ability to set the romantic tone that will prove to be a big hit with the laydeez!

Keith Sweat (born Keith Crier on July 22, 1961) in Harlem, New York, is an American R&B/soul, singer-songwriter, record producer and a major contributor to the New jack swing era. Before becoming a recording artist, Sweat worked for the commodities market in the New York Mercantile Exchange. He sang at nightclubs throughout New York City until he was discovered and offered a recording contract with Elektra Records in 1987.

    His birth name isn’t Keith Sweat. Like most performers, he has a stage name. Keith Crier is his family name, and you will of course make something of that as well, rather than educating yourself as to why this man is considered a living legend. It’s not a title that comes easily, or freely.

    You might want to expand you musical landscape and give his body of work some serious respect. Or, you might want to continue living in the dark and poking fun at what you do not understand. But if you don’t have anything positive to add to the conversation, then why don’t you simply go elsewhere?

    Thanks for the post, Ertunc. It’s nice to have some class music available. Keep it up.

    I’ll again mention (and second nu_boi’s request) for The Cool Kids. The Bake Sale, their first release(excluding mix tapes), is out via itunes and deserves to be given props here. They are the real deal, Chicago style!
