“Waking Up in Vegas” is the upcoming fifth single to be released from Katy Perry’s album, One of the Boys. It was written by Katy Perry, Desmond Child and Andreas Carlsson. It is the first single to be released that is co-produced by Perry herself, along with Greg Wells. The song will be released after her ballad single, “Thinking of You,” which failed to match the success of her previous singles. It will be released in the US on April 21, 2009 (2009-04-21) but dates for other countries have yet to be announced.
