Team FinalCOaliton presents to us female standup comedian Kathleen Madigan and her film ‘In Other Words’. FiCO seems to have been to the comedy section of their supply and that’s proven by the last 8 or so releases they have produced. Remember to try and get these comedy rips, I have watched the Omid Djalili one about 3 times now 
. Due to only 66min long the bitrate is quite nice at 1293 with CD quality audio of 192. I will update with how good/bad this routine is after I finish it. All of the jokes are based on everyday american culture, which is not funny anyways. I smiled once or twice but did not actually produce a full laugh. My attention could not be sustained while watching this, I frequently fast-forwarded but there were just no surprise funny parts.

I’d say it’s a safe bet that if the comedian is female, she’s not going to be funny. A good female comedian != A good male comedian.
I’m not a masochist, chicks just aren’t funny.
But if you want to give them a chance, this woman is very talented and when I watched Last Comic Standing she definitely had her share of good material.
This is absolutely worth a download, if only because no real/good/male standup comedy has been released lately.

Thanks Mr. X, seems very good ! I saw her once and she was great too, so I,ll get this one for sure. It’s too bad about the nasty comments u get sometimes. People are just very ungrateful. ;-( I don’t know how you guys do it actually, no matter what you do, someone is whining and being rude.
The staff should come up with a way to control what is being said, maybe comments could be approved by a moderator before being posted, so the trolls would quit after a while. Seems like this is a very common issue around here (I haven’t been here that long !)

I never heard of her but all kinds of comedy are awesome.
There have been great female and male standup comics. Gender has nothing to do with it. Kathleen Madigan tends to be a bit slower in her verbal cadence, and more sarcastic than some. I do believe that make and female comics do perform a bit differently. Men can be a bit bolder and grittier, where women I think have to finesse abd steer a routine a bit more. Men also have to be able to “listen” to a female, to get the nuances and subtle humor of some of the jokes. Furthermore sometimes the jokes have a bit of a lead in set=up story, so peeps looking for the fast one liners may be disappointed. Guys, if yoiur wife or girl says you never listen to me, beware a female comic!
Men and women are wired differently, thank God! None of this is meant to be sexist, just some explanation.
For a real life example… look at Ellen Degeneras. A very famous female comic. If yoiu see who attends her shows, or goes to her stand-up performances, you will see more women. She draws from her real life and it is bound to happen. She can tell a joke, and finish it off with a twist of her head, and an expression and every woman knows and laughs at.
Anyway, those are some thoiughts.

I don’t think men are better comedians than women. Women tell a story and seem to keep it up, as for most men comedians, they keep changing the subject over and over..one liners, a one liner might be a great starting point if it is funny, but male comedians don’t seem to keep up. As for a women, they seem to be a bit more structured. The downside to their comedy is that if they don’t rapidly change a bad joke, they are bound to fail. As for Kathleen madigan, I love her comedy style. She “cracks me up” I love’er lol
