This is a release that I know a lot of people have been waiting a very long time for, the new Kanye West album.

The ten-time Grammy Award® winning musical phenomenon, rapper, producer, and now singer embarks on a new musical journey taking his audience to new heights. Kanye West returns with his fourth album 808s & HEARTBREAK. His highly anticipated new album set for release on November 25th, featuring the heart pounding first single LOVE LOCKDOWN which premiered live for the first time on the 2008 MTV Video Music Awards. LOVE LOCKDOWN quickly exploded at radio with the video premiering nationwide on the Ellen Degeneres show. “Heartless,” the second single, is next up to hit the airwaves further amplifying the story behind the musical direction for 808s & HEARTBREAK.

    I think love lockdown is one of the best songs of this century so far, i’m absolutely in love with this song, hope the rest of the album is just as good :)

    Just so people know:

    This rip is the Edited/Clean version.

    And, even though it’s “Scene” somehow the guy managed to create a transcode from his own album. He has the album, and obviously ripped it at the wrong bitrate. And, instead of just deleting that and ripping it at the appropriate V2 bitrate, he decided to transcode the original rip that he made.

    So, he transcoded the album from himself and he has the actual CD. Gotta love these “Scene” groups.

    Not really impressed with this album. I like Kanye’s previous albums, but this one is a different sound and he over does it with the Autotune, distortion and other annoying sounds in the songs (like track 11!).
    I give it 3/10 because the song Heartless is OK.

    three things:

    1. Kanye said himself it’s a pop album not a hip hop or rap album for all the geniuses here who can’t figure that out. He called it “pop art”. His next actualy rap album he said is coming out in June, so if you want rapping Kanye you’ll have to wait a whole 7 months or so.

    2. The cover in that picture isn’t even the cover. The real cover has the title and his name on it, and the iTunes cover has two mickey mouse like hands tearing he heart in two.

    3. The best songs are: Heartless, RoboCop, See You In My Nightmares (Ft. Weezy), Welcome to Heartbreak & Love LockDown. The whole album is pretty great and beats the other two auto tune albums out this year (Akon & T-Pain).

    4. If you want good rap albums grab Ludacris’, NaS from earlier in the year, the GZA album that no one noticed earlier in the year, or wait for Mixtape Messiah 5 by Chamillionaire to leak.

    This is a personal album for kanye…yah he is full of himself but what star isn’t…he is human and everybody has heartbreak in their lives…the album is very well put together as a breakup/venting album, it reminds me so much of beck’s sea change album where he wasn’t being his quirky self…but a man distraught…showing pure naked emotion…once again don’t listen to this album if you “cant ” give a man his peace

    The retail cd is a censored version, but I think the only song censored is See You In My Nightmares where weezy says “S#!T” but I found the mp3 of the explicit early on. Good to have CDQ. BTW Kanye posted .mp3’s of Love Lockdown and Heartless for free on his blog, which are mastered even further and sound better than the album versions.
