Jumper REAL PROPER R5 LiNE XviD-iLG
So, this has been out for a few hours now. The only problem was that it was automatically nuked as ’spam’ for some unknown reason. Now that it’s been officially un-nuked, I can tell you that this just may be the best R5 yet for this movie, and hopefully it is, seeing as it’s a REAL.PROPER… From what I’ve heard, audio is much better than the former releases. iLG vouch that there’s absolutely no missing footage or audio problems. Video bitrate is really high for 1 CD and this LINE audio is the best you’ll find at the moment.

Sound is still pretty bad. A bit of a hiss and it sounds like the people have been sucking on helium. Picture quality is very good.

watched it yesterdas, IMO very bad movie.
After watching it through, heres my final comment on the audio quality:
As long as you dont turn it up to loud and dont expect any wonders comming from your speakers, it will be ok to watch. There is a constant “hiss” and everything is as you expect it from Line Audio, but its definetly watchable.
As good as it gets before the DVDRip I guess!
Yea there’s a hiss and the sound is extremely tinny, voices become high pitched. It’s very weird when Sam Jackson sounds like sounds like a geek.

High pitched voices you can definetiy tell when they go to Rome and it is playing Tragically Hip “Ahead by a century” song, they don’t sound like that. Sound is rushed and sounds like they are getting pissed in their mouths when they talk.

Just like other people have stated, the audio is pretty much the same as the r5 by mVs. Sound is tinny and gets high pitched in the same spots, oh well, will have to wait a bit longer.

God dammit, another high pitch voice release.
How does this keep happening? It seems like they used a different audio source, due to the lack of empty spots, and yet still they have those god damn high pitched voices.
The only solution is to set the pitch a bit lower with a video player like KMPlayer.

The audio is a crap. As a sound editor I advise you people not to play with equalisers or spatialisers. Because hardly ever someone gets it right. You CANNOT improve already bad source, remember releasers!
I suggest waiting for a DVDRip, to get “normal” audio.
After watching it for a while, at some point the voices get normal from what I can tell, so it’s just the first half or so that has this problem.
That hiss sucks though.

I saw this in the theatre and it was not wery good movie. The first haf of the movie was way better than the rest of it. In the beginnig the plot was interesting, but in the middle of the movie and after that it was only a bad hide&seek movie.

Dont even bother with #75 audio fix, it sounds worse with a louder hiss and is not ac3. What a joke, he obviously def or has no idea what he is doing. AUDIO IS STILL CRAP.

ac3 is a format not a standard and that audio is ac3 (hence the filename being “VTS_01_1.83.ac3″ so it IS ac3 audio..
mayb i did excagerate on the audio quality, i incorrectly asssumed this “line” part of this rls meant that it was taken from mvs’s cam…

The DVD of Cloverfield is set to be released on April 22, 2008. In my opinion a DVDRip should be available by the second week of April. Why wait till May for the R5?
Anyway, already watched the Jumper R5 by mVs and was happy with it.

audio of this is decent, but that slight hissing in the background is irritating if u know its there. which u now do.

great idea but its sci fi.Theirs no way that this could really ever happen. jesus split himself not jumped around. Can you only imagine how that would go. People would have been scared and the crucification would have happened like in 2 days. truth is that the idea of going in a bank and jumping out without anyone knowing is a teenagers dream. @108: It’s an annoying constant high pitched hiss. If you use a player with an equalizer pull down frequencies over 14kHz and you’re fine.
