There’s no need to introduce Le Parkour, an increasingly popular sport or activity. Jump Britain is a slightly older documentary about British team of Parkour (or “free-running”) enthusiasts, who show off their awesome tricks and jumps at many famous places of the Great Britain. Even if you’ve never heard about Parkour before, I would recommend watching this 60 minute movie. Classic 1 CD rip with 2 channel AC3 audio.

Jump Britain is a 2005 documentary about free running. Directed by Mike Christie and produced by Carbon Media, it is a sequel to Channel 4’s Jump London. Two of the three free runners from Jump London, Sebastien Foucan and Jerome Ben Aoues, appear alongside the members of Urban freeflow, as they interact with numerous famous landmarks all over Britain. Another section of the documentary sees various members of Urban Freeflow go on a ‘pilgrimage’ to Lisses, France. The trip includes a visit to the famous Dame Du Lac.

    awesome, looking forward to the quality of the picture. most of the parkour i’ve seen is on youtube and other streaming video sites. this should be a nice upgrade in video quality, and i can put my feet up on the couch while i watch it.

    awesome! parkour ftw! i did parkour for a couple of weeks, but it was harsh for me and it was a bad time, so i quit for a while, but i hope i get back at it ASAP :P

    @2. Actually the basis of Parkour were invented during war by the father of David Belle (appeared in films like: Banlieue 13 or Crimson Rivers 2: Angels of the Apocalypse).

    I saw Jump London; I thought it was wonderfully done.

    Though, parkour was more of an exclusive kind of thing before it got all this media attention. All kinds of movies and whatnot are exploiting its new-found popularity to sell tickets.

    All parkour is, is getting from A to B as fast as possible.

    not about drugs and killing people… where did you get that from? District B13 maybe? that was a movie not a documentary. This is all about parkour and people that live it. maybe you should try it and not criticize it.

I do not know 304403 personally, but judging by his/her comments, 304403 is not the smartest person in the world.

    Parkour is about moving as efficiently as possible. Running your socks off and getting hurt in the process isn’t efficient.
