So I was searching to see if there was any R&B album came out yesterday and this one caught my eyes. Joy Jones? Don’t know who she is, but R&B, worth me a try. It’s C4 with her debut album “Godchild”.

After a temporary relocation to London, Joy struck a special relationship with BITA producer Daz-I-Kue. She reflects, “Daz believed in me, and encouraged me to really cultivate my craft and create a full project.” Now for the Future Soul Records label, Joy Jones is presenting fans with a thought-provoking album of Afro-beat lullabies, future jazz/soul, protest songs and electronic hymn.

    I'm not a hater…I'm all ver the nu jazz scene – I even worked for Tru-Thoughts in Brighton for a few months. I just happen to think this album is an overly-indulgent piece of crap. I personally know Daz-I-Kue, and could never understand why he wanted to work woth this artist when there's so many REALLY talented vocalists out there. Benji-B and Afronaught both passed up on working with her.

    Anyway, don't throw your dummies out the pram…like everyone else this is just my opinion.

    Joy Jones has a beautiful voice, i love her music, and it really encourages me as a young black male, thats finding himself and working on creating a positive brand "ALMOST THERE" WE MAKE DREAMS REALITY…..
