Journeyman S01E01 DVDSCR XviD-SAiNTS
This is SAiNTS’s third preair/screener they have given us today. It is currently scheduled to air on Monday nights at 10:00/9:00c, premiering on September 24, 2007 following Heroes on NBC. Journeyman details the adventures of one Dan Vasser, a time traveler set back in time to either make good or evil with his decisions. Well since the torrent is not done yet here’s the post as it is and tomorrow I’ll update with NFO and snaps and specs.
Dan Vasser thought he had it all: a loving wife, a great son and a steady job. But life suddenly throws him a curve ball. Dan finds himself traveling into the past with a purpose – impacting people’s lives for the better – and sometimes the worse. While doing so, Dan reconnects with Livia Beale, his ex-fiancée, whom he lost in a mysterious plane crash. Now armed with the knowledge of the present, will he be able to save her? What would that mean to his own future? And how would it change a man who thought he had it all?
Dan Vassar is having a bad day, returning home he finds someone else living in his house who informs him that it is 1987. When he finally makes it home his wife wants to know where he has been for the past two days.

DayBreak was a far better series… this is just a cheap QL ripoff and doesn’t even have half of the charisma QL did.

I agree, Daybreak had potential, but they never even tried to save it. If not for the genre, I wouldn’t even give this one a look.

i never saw quantum leap, but i got to say that my favorite genre of scifi is time travel, and although the name (kinda reminds me of ‘the journeyman project’ game series which was time travel too) and story line isn’t super original, the show is quite well made and actors are good, the ending was very exciting and i think that if it catches i will diffidently add this to my permanent show list
Another horrible new NBC show. Shit like Heroes came out and the shows just started to get worse and worse.

Will be getting this for Kevin McKidd – one of the better Scots actors along with James McAvoy. Pity they have to change their accents for these things!

This one also screams “impossible”, even if anything is possible – time travel is pretty damn implausible. I just can’t think of a way for it to exist. There are all these different theories and such as how it works, like back to the future and such things…
Meh, but I guess as a story – where he is just back in time from the future with no explanation on how he got there works for me – until I watch it at least.
Although I really liked Day Break…
Oooh this show has some potential and yes, ill watch it cus the actor from Rome that noone remeber the name off is a good actor! Finally something new to watch
The chick who plays Livia Beale is the same chick from Daybreak.
Its a good pilot, the ending pulls things together a bit and makes up for some of the duller moments.
Absolutely luv this show!!! Daybreak was nothing compaired to this. Great plot and acting. Plus that nude scene…spectacular!!! Tivo’ing this and the hills….GOD RULES!!!!

Quantum Leap was one of my all time favorite shows.. Sliders was ok didn’t get into it like QL though. Man I wish that they would remake Quantum leap.. with the special effects today it would kick ass. sigh. I will download this and see how it is. thanks for the info on the show!

I liked the first episode, will follow up … never saw QL but saw Sliders – Journeyman comes over more serious, more character play than Sliders which never developed any character.
NuZZ, the genre is called ‘SCIFI’ NOT Science, you can’t expect most of these shows to have any bases in science, that’s what makes them so nice, that they are imaginary, yet fun to watch, watch drama if you want some realsom…
and sliders was a great show from season 1 till the middle of 3, from there it was a strong slide downhill to the horrible series finale

Nice show, I’ve been waiting to see it for a while now. Should’ve been nuked due to missing scene at 21:27, hopefully PROPER will come out soon. I’ll watch the 2nd episode.
