Sorry about the delayed post on this one, and since no one had posted about this till now I thought I should cover the release - that of the final ep of one of my favorite shows on TV currently. The season and most probably the series finale of this show aired last night and was excellent in every which way. They wrapped it up really well all things considered. I really hope this isn’t the last that we’re seeing of Jericho and I hope another network (current talks are with Sci-Fi) picks up this show and gives it a new home to foster in.
Anyways once again LOL (and DiMENSiON for 720p) win the race for this release as they have been doing all season long and give us a great HDTV rip.
The finale is titled “Patriots and Tyrants” where - Stanley comes out of hiding to bury a loved one. Eric has a meeting with a sworn enemy. Major Beck learns the truth about who he works for. Jake & Hawkins go on one final mission to retrieve the bomb and stop the Cheyenne Government from taking over the country.

I love this show and i will never watch cbs they dont know want ppl want they put it on to late for most working ppl thats y it got canceled I HATE CBS
I was surprised that they were accurate in showing the Texas ANG fighters as F-16’s. That is what their 111th Fighter wing flies. Anyone catch the tail numbers on them?

I think that one of the reasons this show was canceled was because it was kinda anti-Government/Corporation.
Also…I wonder if they changed the overall story and enemy to appease said government and to bring the show to an abrupt ending.

honestly, such a great show has been lost, and i hope SciFi take it. Someone on CBS Forums suggested CBS air the cliffhanger ending (the one to use if it had a 3rd series) to show SciFi channel that is has somewhere to go, and even with last nights ending, there is still so much more to do.
This show can live for an easy 80episodes. So much to do. so much more to create if need be.

This show wasn’t Lost but it was entertaining, and I’m a sucker for anything post-apocalypse.

Well, it’s hell of a coincedence. As soon as they show us how life in US without freedoms look like - it gets cancelled mid-season. It definatelly bring some thoughts.

@16 Vantage Point is a good movie although the acting isn’t as good as I’d have expected it. Whitaker at least could have done better.
The show was cancelled bc of the “ratings”. And thats the strongest argument fans have right now. It received a 1.9 share and pretty much received that all season. Yet there were 10s of thousands of forum posters all over, 10s of thousands of peanuts (as we all know) sent to cbs, and tons of itunes purchases, etc… Point is Neilson ratings are outdated. Yes Scifi is considering but if anyone wants to change the format of ratings or save this show once again, then Mark Cuban’s TVONE is the only hope. Cuban owns the channel. Hes purchased many cancelled shows and aired the reruns. If anyone can adapt to a new format of ratings and run with it, its him. I say flood him with the facts and the love for Jericho!

Definitely one of the better CBS shows in a while. Liked the way they ended it.I didnt understand all the fuss about the show when it first aired but got into it after the first few episodes. Hope Sci-fi picks this up because they need a good show after Battlestar goes away. Ratings are a joke these days purely because of DVRs, torrents and the internet as a whole. I have seen every episode of Jericho and never once watched it live ,so to speak. Great show though, check it out.
We will bring back Jericho again.
