Jedward first made a joint name for themselves as contestants on the sixth season of Simon Cowell’s The X Factor, and even though the twins were eliminated, they’ve gained somewhat of a cult following in their homeland thanks to their mash-up of Queen and David Bowie’s “Under Pressure” with Vanilla Ice’s “Ice Ice Baby,” a song that originally sampled “Under Pressure.”

Description: “Under Pressure (Ice Ice Baby)” is the debut single by Irish pop duo Jedward (also known as John & Edward). The single is a mashup of “Under Pressure”, originally recorded in 1981 by Queen and David Bowie, and “Ice Ice Baby”, recorded by Vanilla Ice in 1989. Vanilla Ice is featured on the new 2010 track almost 20 years after the release of the original track in 1990.
