Jedi Mind Tricks Presents Doap Nixon – Sour Diesel
Doap Nixon the Philadelphia native who is a mainstay on the Philly
underground Hip-Hop scene just dropped his long awaited feature length album, titled Sour Diesel. The album, which is presented by Jedi Mind Tricks, is 12 tracks including an intro and skit, and you know how much we love skits and intros.
Nixon, the former member of Army of the Pharaohs’ continues to deliver his gritty swagger and unloads an arsenal of dope rhymes over cleverly calculated beats while most are laced with so many F-bombs they at times over power the nicely creative metaphoric rhymes. Without any apologizes Nixon starts off with an intro that you will either love or hate. It’s a jumble of loud beats, yelling and rhyming. But once you get through the first track amply titled, “Behind the Music” and make it to the second song on the album, “Tis the Season” you’ll be straight. The track which features former Firm member Nature & Good Money is the best song on the album. The beat is hot and the rhymes are delivered with high intensity.

have had this for some time now, if i remember correctly the beats are a bit wacked, but there are still some dope names on it.
I just so happen to know Doap irl, pretty genuine guy. His album is sick too, have had a burnt copy directly from him for months now.
