James Bond: Casino Royale 2006 CAM XviD – Librium

Let me start off by saying OMFG 1 H473 J4M35 B0ND!!! Now that that’s out of the way, the remake of the 1976 classic Casino Royale is out now in CAM quality. Apparently the all new spy movies were starting to take over the genre so they simply shacked James Bond instead of stirring him and so the new and improved James Bond was born! I say this is just a new face on an old label. Basically they’ve just put more over-the-top action in it along with more gadgets and stuff. I’m probably going to check the TS out when it’s out because I’ve never liked James Bond because of the ridiculous action sequences and impossible to produce gadgets and the cheesy enemies that people are actually putting into parodies nowadays.

Casino Royale introduces James Bond before he holds his license to kill. But Bond is no less dangerous, and with two professional assassinations in quick succession, he is elevated to ’00′ status. Bond’s first 007 mission takes him to Madagascar where he is to spy on a terrorist, Mollaka. Not everything goes to plan and Bond decides to investigate, independently of MI6, in order to track down the rest of the terrorist cell. Following a lead to the Bahamas, he encounters Dimitrios and his girlfriend, Solange. He learns that Dimitrios is involved with Le Chiffre, banker to the world’s terrorist organizations. Secret Service intelligence reveals that Le Chiffre is planning to raise money in a high-stakes poker game in Montenegro at Le Casino Royale.

MI6 assigns 007 to play against him, knowing that if Le Chiffre loses, it will destroy his organization. ‘M’ places Bond under the watchful eye of the beguiling Vesper Lynd. At first skeptical of what value Vesper can provide, Bond’s interest in her deepens as they brave danger together and even torture at the hands of Le Chiffre. In Montenegro, Bond allies himself with Mathis MI6′s local field agent, and Felix Leiter who is representing the interests of the CIA. The marathon game proceeds with dirty tricks and violence, raising the stakes beyond blood money and reaching a terrifying climax.

8.1 at IMDB and some great reviews sound pretty good. From what I heard they went more old school, less stupid gadgets, more classic action and so on. But will wait for a DVD rip, want to watch and hear it in all it’s glory.

V, keep it. The “original” was a fucking comedy, no James Bond Movie. Casino Royale was Ian Flemings first Bond-Novel and the new movie is for the first time in Bond-History a faithful adaptation. Yep, seen the movie. AWESOME!

If you loved the spirit of Batman Begins, this is exactly the same style – Bond Begins!

well i thought it was guna be just another bond film but i was pleasantly surprised. It had more of a spy feel than all out action from start to finish. Bond was more arrogant than ever but there was far less “cheese” for want of a better word. definatly worth a look. And jock say why its so bad “its ****” is really constructive

Casino Royale was Woody Allen’s James Bond parody movie adapted from the same Ian Fleming novel that this movie is based on. That movie is notable for it’s influence on the Austin Powers series. Particularly Austin’s ‘crushed blue velvet suit’ which is almost the exact same outfit Woody wears as ‘James Bond’ in his Casino Royale. I believe this new Bond movie is the first movie ever to have a parody made of it before it was made.

As the ‘Junkett’ releases keep stating this movie has a grittier, more serious Bond, reflecting the current world situation. Fair enough, but I for one thought most Bonds were pretty serious, with a few cool one-liners in appropriate places. Roger Moore’s Bond was the only one with plenty of “cheese” and Connery was the only one who had the Bond character spot on (maybe not as in the books, but for the movies).

    Diamonds Are Forever (1971)
Bond: I tend to notice little things like that – whether a girl is a blonde or a brunette.
Tiffany Case: Which do you prefer?
Bond: Either, as long as the collar and cuffs match.

    Classic!

i just saw the movie for the first time. i was a skeptic of the movie, but i thought it was great. i think mads “le chiffre” really stood out in the movie, but daniel craig was great as well. eva green didn’t really suit my tastes as a bond girl, but she was good enough.
