James Blunt – All The Lost Souls (2007)

Known for his song “You’re Beautiful” James Blunt returns with a new album “All The Lost Souls” which is due to be out this coming monday.

All the Lost Souls is the second studio album by James Blunt, to be released on September 17, 2007. It is the follow-up to his hugely successful 2004 debut album, Back to Bedlam . The first single released from the album is “1973″, which started radio play on July 23, 2007.

 

Several songs on the album have been performed at live shows during his 2006 tours, including “1973″ and “Annie.” His touring band, consisting of Paul Beard (keyboards), Ben Castle (guitar), Malcolm Moore (bass) and Karl Brazil (drums), backed Blunt on the new album. Tom Rothrock returns as producer; Rothrock also produced Back to Bedlam. Blunt also performed the song “Same Mistake” during his performance at the Live Earth concert in London.

Victoria Newton of The Sun called the CD cover the “best in years.” The cover consists of hundreds of pictures of Blunt (from childhood to recent) as a collage of his face.Designer Nin Bose joked that “James asked us not to use his face on the cover – so we put it on 1,000 times.”

    I saw this prick at Glastonbury 05 unfortunately and I was too stoned to move until his shitty whining little voice compelled me to.

    He started off by saying – “This is a song that only me and girls can sing” so he openly admits that he is a nancy haired nancy voiced nancy nancy nancy.

    And I hate that shitty video where he takes his shoes, watch bracelets and shit off and lines them up – not because he is singing so much, not because you are forced to see his skinny pigeon chest so much – but because I was assuming the climax of the video was him topping himself… but he is still alive releasing shiiiiiitttt dribble… COCK!

    @19 there is freeware for the mac called MacOSaiX, it does it with pictures from google or a folder or anywhere, simple, cheep and 100% unoriginal.
    He voice lacks EVERYTHING.
    And I will say it again, link to last.fm not wikipedia for music, it tells you far more and almost always has samples, wiki is just a bit shit for music, it’s not what it was designed for.

    I never said he was gay – as my brother is gay I generally don’t resort to that as an insult (unless I like to insult him for fun).

    What I do think about James Blunt is that he is a whiney, buck-toothed, pigeon-chested prefect, who managed to blag his way out of the army and now settles as a purveyor of mediocrity alongside people like Robbie Williams and Coldplay appealing to the masses of people who don’t actually enjoy music – just enjoy people thinking they enjoy music.

    Also if you re-read what I said to you – I said that you could like James Blunt if any of the 3 points applied. Which they do.. like a fucking glove. Booyah.
