Bioware has developed the Baldur’s Gate games, the first Neverwinter Nights, the first Star Wars KoToR and other great games.
Just, in thinking if the procyon nfo says the thing needs YASU I hardly doubt the ‘Protection: N/A’ sounds more like securom v7.. and EMUDVD shit again..
This should be a really good game, especially if you’ve got a decent game controller.

How do you burn this on a single dvd.. or can it only on a double layer dvd ?
I think youll have to mount it, or indeed a dual layer DVD. Although mounting it will be more simple.

Seems like a rather small game though if you exclude the movies but from the various reviews it does have around 15 - 20 hours of game time.

About Vitality Info I have no doubt they know their things and hell they seemed to crack thew thing, but I actually got bought original here and this disc sure as hell reads ‘Tages’ as protection and not securom even while I said it could be securom as they use Yasu..
Someone reseed without all the movies! 4.22GB of video just ain’t worth it (I could dl Flags of our Fathers, Blood Diamonds and Last King of Scotland for that!)

VITALIT’s crack works with PROCYON’s release. This game was iirc imported from Xbox release.
Why would you play Jade Empire without the movies? The game is all about story, and the story is greatly enhanced and progressed through the movies. As with KotOR I, Jade Empire is a fantastic story driven rpg. The team dynamics are always fun, and the controls and fighting are greatly enhanced from KotOR. It is very easy to play using the keyboard instead of a gamepad. I think it’s more like 30+ hours of gameplay if you take your time and explore everything. 15-20 would be rushing through everything and skipping the dialogue - oh yes, all of the dialogue is voice acted so you can chose to just read the subs and skip through it to save time. As with KotOR, some of the people speak in a “foreign language,” but most speak English. Another win from BioWare, now we can look forward to Mass Effect in a few months…

The ViTALITY version blows. When I mount it and try to install it, it says the install size is 0.0kb. Nothing I do prevents that problem, mounted it in different programs too. Anybody else have this problem? I’m using Jade.Empire.Special.Edition-ViTALITY.torrent, got it from… ehm… can’t remember.

Ragnarok, try running the setup.exe manually from the DVD, not via the autorun. That should do it.
I have another kind of problem, and would like to know if anyone is experiencing the same. There are virtually no sounds in the game, except for the interface “clicks” and some random voice-overs (maybe 1%) in the dialogs. The SFX and the music is missing completely. I’ve tried all sorts of things, including updating my Vorbis codecs, but nothing seems to help. Any ideas? Anyone?
KDMN my problem is a little diferent first all works but after 5 min of gaming time sound start to buzz, after i restarted the game new game dont start it crashes and loads hawe grafik crashes. If someone knows how to fix it plz tell me im desperate.
@KDMN: thanks for the info, I figured it out 5 minutes after my post here. I feel like an idiot ^_^ Anyway, have you tried disabling Enviromental Audio, Enviro Effects of whatever it’s called? Sometimes it interferes with the normal sounds in the game.

IF YOU HAVE TROUBLES INSTALLING DO LIKE THIS EXACTLY: CREATE A FOLDER NAME JADE EMPIRE , EXTRACT ALL RAR FILES FROM THE FOLDER DATA , AND FIND NO CD CRK AND RUN THE GAME , THATS ALL. TOOK ME 3H TO FIGURE IT OUT.
IF THE FILE XInput9_1_0.dll ERROR SHOWS , DOWNLOAD NEW DX AND THEN RUN THE GAME AGAIN…OTHERWISE THE FILE WAS OK
I got Jade Empire a while ago but I have that error XInput9_1_0.dll when I try to play it. Then under the congfig. It says this:

I have the vitality version - problem is that it just won’t save games - I have windows XP and a powerful gaming rig. So I can’t get out of the first area without being able to save! Aargh!

actually i kinda figured it out. i have the same problem as ragnarok, i tried running setup through the virtual dvd drive and it says that setup.exe is not a valid win32 operation.

I have the VITALITY version. I unRAR’ed it, mounted it, and installed it with no problems. Applied the crack, hunky dorey.
Loaded it the first time, and I got the warning about monitor drivers that Stealthy Box mentioned above, but no DirectX error (I updated from MS before I loaded it). I have a laptop, so I just blew off the monitor message.
When I run it now, I get the opening window, and press the Play button, it flashes two graphic screens, one of a guy warrior, one of a woman warrior, and then it just quits to Windows!
Anyone have this error and got past it?

it took me 6days to download vitality version it’s now install but without the crack there is the securom problem and with the crack applied nothing happen.

If you are having a problem where the game installs fine, but when you press play on the launch screen nothing happens, it probably means your computer doesnt meet the min. system requirements.

I bought jade empire for pc yesterday, played it longtime thought it was a good game saved everything went out. Tried to play it today saved files won’t load … only load if i don’t exit the game. Can anybody help?
I loaded the game and it looks great and you can play the training area well .But when I try to go to the blacksmith in two rivers the game will load then say it has a saved game loading error and you have to start over . You can never
get passed that part I have looked for patches or some help
on blogs . Nothing . any ideas.
