Scene group DiVERSE have released a LIMITED British film noir style film called “Jack Said”. Jack Said is based on the graphic novel by Paul Tanter and stars Danny Dyer, David O’Hara, Simon Phillips and Terry Stone.

Nathan is a member of a criminal gang headed by the notorious Guvnor and his psychotic daughter Natalie. He befriends fellow gang member Jack Adleth who, unbeknownst to Nathan, is an undercover police officer. Nathan harbours a secret too and when he steals from the gangster family and goes underground he trusts Jack to look after his sister Erin. Inheriting Nathans role in the gang, Jack must now walk a fine line between his duty as a police officer and what is required of him by Natalie. The lines between his real and assumed identities begin to blur and his conscience and loyalty are put to the test.

    this looks interesting, I want to say finally as the first person to comment, out of 30 comments usually less then 5 are real most are spam please clean up the comment section!! Film Noir means what exactly??

    Film noir doesn’t mean black and white. Noir is a story and style choice. Low-lighting and a story that follows the darker elements in life, usually in a mystery format (but not always).

    in a warehouse, guarded by heavies.
    He seems to have evoked the wrath of the Guvnor (Mike Reid),
    who lectures him about ‘losing respect’.
    A girl called Natalie (Sari Sheehan) is present,
    and is clearly not in the Guvnor’s good books.
    As one of the heavies removes Jacks gag,
    the Guvnor points a gun at his head.
    The scene fades to black, followed by two gunshots.
