Many people still can’t stand the fact that there are many good films coming from Asia, not only Hollywood. It’s a Wonderful Life (original name is “Sum seung si sing”) could be easily one of them – romantic comedy from Hong Kong which works with little different methods than all American movies and which will be a big change from production you are used to. Group ESPiSE released this movie with English subtitles on 1 CD, so you shouldn’t have any problems understanding it although the audio remains Cantonese.
Thunder (Ronald Cheng) is a god who likes to boast about his intelligence. One day, he is reminded by his girlfriend that he has pledged his guardianship to Don, a boy he saved 30 years ago. The boy will face death on New Year’s Eve and it is time for Thunder to fulfil his pledge. When Thunder arrives in the human world, he lends his magical powers to Don without Don’s knowledge, causing himself to be hit with a streak of bad luck. When this happens, the Emperor of Heaven, along with the other gods, come down to the human world to arrest Thunder.

yeah. uh, looks great. vibrant colors.
Why isn’t the torrent working. Access denied, peers limit reached. This is the only one with subs, others I’ve found are movie only.
Any ideas cos looks like a fun movie
it works fine simon – the torrent contains two trackers, one private which returns this access denied error and second public which works without any problems
the sub seems to be out of sync with the rest of the vid/audio.
Torrent finally started up aftre about 25 minutes and arrived real fast but the subs are about one minute out. I’m playing around with vobsub but have no success. First time I’ve tried so i don’t really know what I’m doing.
By the way thanks for a really great site. It’s my don’t miss daily visit.

Got them working with a cool free soft called subsync.
Only problem is I had to convert the .sub file to .srt first as subsync wouldn’t open the subtitles saying the file was corrupt.
Hope the film is good after all that
I will then wait for axxo to create a hard-subbed version.
I was wanting to watch this..and searched all over the internet..and everything was complicated…I found one that let’s you visually sync the subs, and it worked perfect…
http://www.nikse.dk/se/ is the site…so yeah..this will fix the subs sync and is really easy to use…just use the visual sync in the “subtitle edit” program on that website…and when you hear the first word come out of the persons mouth…pause it there…make sure you have the first subtitle selected..press sync…then save the file…easy peasy

yah, this is quite a headache. i tried the subedit app, but can’t really figure out how to get it to work. when i load the file, it says not enough text.
if someone could post the ‘fixed’ srt, that’ll be great.
