calling any comic book action movie “one of the best movies of 2008″ (or any year) is like calling macdonalds burgers “fine food”. these big dumb hollywood action flicks are sometimes good mindless fun, but they aren’t “real” movies compared to serious films with real stories and acting and without cgi. best in it’s own catagory though perhaps.

On the left is ndn’s video (from their sample) and on the right is iLG’s video (released awhile ago). It looks, to me at least, that ndn and ilg have almost the same crop, and although iLG’s video has a lower resolution it has a better quality.
I did not resize the videos, I just opened them both, put the windows next to each other, and took a screen shot.

first the last time I went to dl a nDn release i got nothing, there is more than 1 release with the same heading be it that the “MPAA” find the good relaese and put up there own but I dont think I will give them a second try.

An outstanding resume of nothing in particular. Personally I find it embarrassing that these guys should draw attention to themselves in this way. Anyway I find rlslog a valuable resource and I’m always curious as to the views of the staff and look forward to further releases. As to the one paragraph reviews, I find them for the most part accurate if a little light on detail.

Er, correct me if I’m wrong but rlslog isn’t making money off of this, you aren’t paying them so what’s your problem? I think they provide a valuable service. I guess if you don’t agree with their movie reviews, don’t read them. But in my opinion they’re generally pretty good, and the quality reviews are brilliant.
