This double live album from one of Britain’s most enduring and beloved heavy metal acts is the soundtrack to the rockumentary film of the same name which follows the band on their 2008 world tour, and which receives a simultaneous DVD release. After nearly 35 years, 14 studio albums and 70 million records sold, Maiden are still ripping it up like teenagers and this collection, taking in performances from Asia and the Americas, demonstrates both the showmanship and the ferocity of their live sets.

    Damn so close!! WHat really sux is it is three guitars all blended together due to a crappy, overcompressed rip. FLAC would be nice for once.

    Where's the DVD?

    @19 Give the poor guy a break. He has to have a poke at such an original and creative band, especially compared to Tiesto who simply samples and copies everything other people actually write and play.

    The guy knows his musical taste is pathetic, at least this way he gets to pretend he's cool and not just a shut-in.

    LOOOOL, you need to take you head out of Mike Patton's A S S and get some fresh air…your judgement is obviously clouded.
    While Patton has an amazing and unique voice, his recorded output is mostly crap…creative and inventive at times but crap none the less (Faith No More is amazing however) None of the bands you've listed are any more creative now than Maiden were many years ago. I listen to (or have listened to) many bands you've listed and I enjoy them, but to bash Maiden for a lack of creativity or originality is just plain ignorant. While they're obviously now doing any "new" at this point, they've not only created their own unique style and sound, but helped define the metal genre.

    Educate yourself inded.

    The only original album maiden did was killers after that is plain repeat i mean come on 3 guitars ? lol and what i don't mention only patton i mention 3 groups of amazing musicians and patton is in there also it happens im not a great fun of his other works and im just mentioning younger groups who are original in their sound now you wanna talk about pure metal and original ??? ok Judas Priest,DIO,black sabbath,Venom,Motörhead and after that Slayer,Metallica,Pantera,Death and i just rest my case with them cause there are always more names but srry not maiden.

    What is wrong with 3 guitars? Are 2, 1 or 4 better? It is not a point how many of them are there, but how they sounds.

    I do prefer voice of Paul Di'Anno, but I don't complain about it. Hm, forgot to say lol. :)

    If you don't get this on blu ray or at least dvd you'll be seriously missing out. The sound quality on the blu ray is awesome! Everyone should check out the Flight 666 game on their website too http://www.ironmaiden.com/games/flight666/ .. stupidly addictive. x
