    Ok so this is probably a few stupid questions but…

    Does the iphone need to be crack/hacked or whatever for these to work?

    will they work with the ipod touch?

    simple questions that just require a yes or no so please don't eat me alive.

    nice post! @ 2: you need a jailbroken iphone/touch with a patch that allows cracked applications. Google for Appolo.us

    To use these apps update your phone/ipod and then download the pwnage tool from blog.iphone-dev.org. There are instructions all over the net, but the program itself is intuitive.

    Basically the tool builds and installs a hacked image with "cydia". From cydia add the source http://cydia.hackulo.us and install "appsync" and "installous".

    Installous will let you install any commercial application. It makes this post irrelevant.
