For anyone who is interested (those with consoles/divx players), I have uploaded a Hardcoded Subs version with the English corrected and all in synch. Although slightly lower quality (1090kbps), it's fine for watching on a 32" widescreen.

just watched the movie, it's really good, it stays true to the wing tsun.
also the corrections in "comment 18" works great

@94 hibby – Thanks for the adjusted subs. Unfortunately, the previously posted version of the written parts was in Chinglish and somewhat difficult to understand.

I still have a minor quibble about the translation (though it's not your fault). The subtitles use the word "dojo" repeatedly to refer to the various Chinese martial arts schools in the movie. Dojo is a Japanese term. I think the word "school" or "kwon" (Cantonese) would have been more appropriate.

Awesome watch. True Wing Chun moves and plenty of it.

BTW, I've manually fixed the English subs with written parts, so that all the English text makes sense now.

I sorta overlooked Comment #18, it's fairly spot-on. 330 might be a bit much, as 250 was not enough.

But anyways, good info on how to edit the syncfix files. I used Virtualdub myself to do it.

The audio sync error is closer to 300 than 250. This applies for both parts. Watch for the sound effects to synch up, not the dubbed Mandarin… then you will see.

The subs that I found that included the written parts had a flaw in the entry numbers at the end of the second .srt file… I've fixed it and uploaded it, but the Engrish is still the same: http://subscene.com/english/Ip-Man-AKA-Grandmaster-Yip-Man/subtitle-195110.aspx

Why people upload 34500000 files to rapidshare or netload if they may upload one 700Mb file to megaupload or 400Mb to netload? And why they keep using rapidshare if everybody know they get deleted very fast specially if they're named with the real name of the movie?? Why people is so dump?
