Another SEPTiC release on our hands: Invisible Target. It has a weird Chinese title on IMDB; Nan er ben se. I don’t think there are many people who have seen this movie already (including myself), but the people that did see it give it a nice rating on IMDB: 6.8/10. So I guess it’s worth a try :) I couldn’t find much info about the movie, that’s why the plot is very, very short:

Three police officers, driven by different motives, join forces to defeat the head of a band of thieves called the Ronin Gang.

    The movie is actually good, although it is full of bugs and the conversations are pretty lame. But good action, and nice fighting. Worths seeing it once.

    Seems like a typical kung-fu with fake-plot and lots of dumb guys who forgot that it’s XXI century and there are guns (and they shoot!), so they lose. Pass.

    Please start to understand that IMDB ratings with less than let’s say 1.000 votes are not a very convincing source. That’s enough for every crew member and their friends to have voted. I don’t say that every rating with a couple of hundred votes is nonsense, but it’s not very reliable.

    Well if u guys know the Police Story by Jackie Chan and like it, then this movie a good choose to watch.

    Actually one of the actors, Jaycee, is the real life son of Jackie Chan, and if you watch through the movie, ironically, his son is a much better actor, in terms of conveying emotions, than Jackie Chan in any of his movies. Good movie.

    The “weird” sounding title is the Cantonese name of the movie. Literally it would be translated as “Manly Courage or True Color”.

    pfffttt.. imdb ratings are useless, it’s just rated by a bunch of “movie critic” wannabes rating based on their own opinion.
    so it shouldn’t be counted as to wheither “good” or “bad”

    as for the movie, the cover says “Man’s pride”

    It’s nice to see some HK movies being shot in this kind of quality. They’re usually shot in this grainy full screen format with fuzzy white subtitles.

    That’s pretty ignorant to call the title “weird” just because you’re not familiar with another language.

    It is in Cantonese with English sub. I was surprised to see the word, “Jap” used as most of Japanese descent will find it offensive. Should use “Japanese” instead. If you like this, find “Flashpoint” with great action and fight scenes.
