All My Movies (by BolideSoft and with the MD Glass template) is far superior then Movie Collector.. basically everything made by Collectorz is pretty useless.
Ant Movie Catalog is also good for fast lookup of xvids.

I used to use Collectorz version of Movie Collector but the web-based Listal is so much more useful. and it does movies, music, games, books, and tv shows.
sorry for the plug, but if you’re a movie collector (especially Xvid collector LOL) it comes in handy.
@4 I do not agree.. I have 12.544 movies, and Collectorz Movie Collector handles it superb. I can set if its xvid,or H264 or DVD. It can get the info from the barcode, or from the title. It uses several databases inc, IMDB to find the info. Pictures and the lot. Other programs have not been able to handle the huge amount of movies I have… I guess they were made for “normal” collectors, with a few hundred movies in their collection, in mind.

What is up with the spam? Who is stupid enough to advertise what they have in their collection on a website that could track IP’s and such…. not all of us have forked up the $39 for a DVD..
The keygen is pretty much useless here. You gotta buy a real key to be able to upload your collection online or download high-res images.

If not, than what’s the point? With the beginning of v3, no need for registration.
They dont even say in the nfo that the keygen will come over the 50 DVD limitation.
ok so this program seems really cool i have used ANT in the past and liked it and i just downloaded Collectorz which i think sux.
problem is i cant use the program the keygen doesnt do anything
i would pay for it actually but i want to test it out a little first with no limitations
Just tried it out…how can I add all my existing movies at once? You can’t expect me to type in all of them by hand again , right?
If so, I rather stick to my Extreme Movie Manager.
you have to add one by one so either use your bar code scanner or type the bar code by hand. how the program would know what you have??

You can test the program with up to 50 DVDs. It is very cool iondeed, I use it for many years and with version3, now it is even better than ever.

I started to get pi55ed with MediaMan cause it didn’t get much attention from cracking groups. But now I hope I have something with which to replace it.
The app looks nice… hope it behaves the same!
PS: Collectorz.com apps are really slow on my computer… guess it’s cause I’ve set my NOD32 to also scan runtime packers…

@Lutter: Well, in Extreme Movie Manager, I can just import my old list, for example from a text file, an Excel/OpenOffice spreadsheet or, most conveniently, from my hard drive. With the last option, it automatically read all the info (length, codec, size, resolution, etc).

I had (have?) a german program that stopped being updated in 2002
It was an insert cd, it would read the title, then go to next one (pia in some cd’s with 53427 have to type it in)
Is there any type of Movie/Video manager that will allow you to browser your selection, such as this program, but also allow you to attach your movies to it essentially. So I can look at what I have, and then play it. I am thinking something like Windows Media Center, but I like having all of the info, so I don’t have to flip back and forth to imdb to look every darn thing up. Having the box art + imdb info and then ability to just hit play would be ideal.
Yes, the program I mentioned before can do that. You have your nice movie database (with all the info, pics, etc) and if you want you can start the movie right away (if it’s on your HD or in your CD/DVD drive).

Socalled keygen is trojan. That’d why it doesn’t seem to do anything. Scan your HD if you’ve ‘used’ it!
Rob is 100% correct. The keygen is a trojan, just watch everything grind to a halt. stay well clear of this
