    A friendly tip: If you are using a previous patched version from BRD, just auto-update your IDM from it's normal function and reapply the previous patch (provided you didn't delete it).
    BRD's patch works perfect with all 5.xx versions so you don't need to get a different crack every time IDM releases an update. I updated mine IDM three days before this release.

    I always used an older version of this. Its the best download manager, by far. However upon uninstalling that version to install version 5, a few months back, I was never able to complete the install. A lot of people had this issue, and I am wondering if the IDM folks haven't buried something in our PC's for those of us who had a previous installation, to prevent piracy.

    now that i got the patch to run it keeps saying that the file is in use even though i closed all programs and even restarted with idm removed from start up programs… it still said the file was in use

    Think it is a good idea to update because they updated the Firefox plug-in

    (Released: May 07, 2009)
