Many people have their own favourite download managers and this is the one i personally use, although i dont use Rapidshare like a lot of the users here.

    the one thing I don’t like about this app is that you cannot set the amount of parts each download will be.

    The direct uploadjockey links provided by dot works fine.

    But then when pacthing, it succesfully does, but IDM says the key is not valid, so exiting!!!

    Any new cracks/serials/patches?

    too bad it doesnt work. but this is the best download manager for me bcause it can limit overall speed, perfect for multi tasking internet works.

    @ Jess … Lol. Man, im not bull-ishing. I downloaded like 4 versions of IDM and everyone had ‘Ilegal Serial’ or could not patch.

    Then I found this one, didnt asc for anything, it just got instaled and was regestred when i open it.

    IDM is so good that i paid for it (real money & everything!). well worth the price, especially if you do a lot of rapidshare downloads.

    I gave up on these commercial download managers years ago after losing too many downloads when (flashget I think it was) decided I was using a keygenned serial and it wrecked my d/l’s.

    Free download manager does everything these others do including staying up to date with the rapidshare site (and others) changes. You can set yer sizes of pieces max speeds, reliable scheduler, works equally well with msie, firefox , opera.
    best of all you kin grab it straight off the FDM site

    No spyware either but make sure you do a custom install unticking the offers of “the FDM Community” or some toolbar thingie.
    It is truly ‘free’.
